We are continuing on in our walk through Colossians. In verses 13 through 20 we get a clear and concise picture of who Christ is in all of His deity! Christ has the preeminence and superiority over all things and in Christ all things hold together!

We are kicking off our first in depth book study! We are starting off with the wonderful book of Colossians. I am so excited to start this and I truly hope you will spiritually benefit from this study! We are going deeper and deeper into Christ and what a joy it is to be His disciple!

A journey of a 1,000 miles begins with a single step... this was last week and now we are on this lifelong spiritual journey with Christ. Progressive sanctification is just that, a lifelong progression in which the ultimate goal is to be conformed to the image of the Son of God. Being Christlike is the goal and today we are going to steps to help sanctify us into His image.

Today we are going to dig into the first category of sanctification...positional sanctification. Where do you stand with God at this moment? This is one of the most important questions we can ask ourselves and with Jesus Christ we are able to stand before a righteous, holy God.

As Passion Week unfolds we are digging deep into the reality of what the crucifixion of Jesus Christ was like. It is a hard subject to listen in on but a sobering one nonetheless. Sobering in that if you were the only sinner to walk this Earth, Jesus Christ would have still gone through everything He endured for you. What an amazing love!

Jesus commanded that we love one another as He has amazingly loved us. We are looking at Biblical ways we ought to love people, not just our families but to all! How do you know for sure if you are a true disciple of Christ? It is by our love!
