The Good Homosapiens came in to play a few tunes and get you excited about the National Park Service's Centennial Celebration on Sunday. There will be bands, foodtrucks, activities, pony rides, speakers and more. The Redwood National and State Park's FREE celebration will be Sunday from noon till 6 p.m. at the bottom of Bald Hills Road, just off of Highway 101 north of Orick.

This morning, longtime friend of KHUM, John Berning stopped by the KHUM studio. John is in town visiting family and to play a set tomorrow night (Saturday) from 7 till 9pm at Old Town Coffee and Chocolates. We reminisce about the old days of KHUM's Gasoline Protests and the songs he wrote and performed. In fact, he even performed a couple of them live on this morning.
