Jim and Todd break down Game 6 between the Spurs and Thunder. Jim is not a fan of the OKC playing style, to say the least. The Lynx have started fast despite Napheesa Collier and others not playing yet due to injury. Jim would implement the owners proposal for a new CBA immediately, but knows that won't happen. Kendry Rojas leaves his start with an elbow issue, more bad Twins luck.

Jim and Todd talk about a surprisingly interesting Twins team. The pitching has been outstanding the last two weeks. Is Royce Lewis what they call a "quadruple A player?" Meaning, is the leap so big from AAA to MLB that he can't make it? What do the Wolves need to do roster-wise this offseason. Jim and Todd were amazed by the play of Victor Wembanyama in the Spurs Game 1 2OT win over OKC. Kendry Rojas, the key piece of the Louie Varland trade, is a 98-mph lefthander, who could make the Twins the winner of that trade.

Jim and Todd recap the PGA Championship. People should give aaron Rai a lot of respect for how he won the tournament. It was an all-time great performance the last 10 holes. Jim grades the trades made the last few years by Tim Connelly. What did he give the Gobert trade? Who wins, OKC or San Antonio?

Jim talks abot his column in the Star-Trib, if the Wolves lose tonight, is Chris Finch still the head coach next year. Zebby Matthews was dealing vs the Marlins. He and other starting pitchers is why Jim remains optimistic about the not-so-distant future of the team.

Jim says there will be changes for the Wild, but nothing major. He believes Jon Hynes will be back as coach and they will sign Hughes to an extension. It appears like the Wolves have to play perfect to beat the Spurs, tat is always tough. They need more from Randle and Rudy. PGA Championship this week. What Jim would do with Twins pitcher Simeon Woods-Richardson.

Jim breaks down exactly where the Wolves and Wid are coming up short in their respective playoff series.

Jim thinks it just looks like the Avalanche are a little better team than the Wild. Even if they are eliminated Wednesday night, he doesn't think there will be many changes to the roster. The Wolves may go at Wembanyama physically again, but it's not for revenge of Naz Reid taking an elbow, it's just a good game plan.

Jim gives Naz Reid a new nickname. This is the first red flag for Wemby. Ant is gassed but carrying the load. If the Wild win tonight it's a series, if they don't, they are likely done in 5 games to the Avs.

Jim and Todd preview tonight's Game 3 at Target Center. Jim will be there and is expecting a raucous crowd. How the Wolves combat being shorthanded. Why the Spurs were so effective in Game 2. How important DiVincenzo was to the team. The Wild must win game 3 and to do that must play better on special teams, especially PK. The Minnesota Frost face elimination from the PWHL semifinals tonight.

Jim and Todd talk about the Timberwolves Game 1 victory over San Antonio. Ant returning to play was huge and respected by his teammates. How did they attack Wemby and be effective despite him blocking 12 shots. Mike Conley was the x-factor player, hitting 4-7 on three's. The Wild have to better defensively tonight.

Jim and Todd talk about the game 1 loss for the Wild in Denver. Unusual game, but Colorado showed, they aren't Dallas. Jim doesn't think the Wild will bench Wallstedt. Jim attended the Wolves game vs the Nuggets and said the atmosphere was louder than it was on TV. Jaden McDaniels talked it and walked it, impressive. TJ Shannon is terrible on defense as Jim can attest, but his electric offensive game made a huge difference. Quinn Hughes is one of the smartest players in the NHL and the Wild were the better team in their series with Dallas.

Jim talks about this being the first time in Minnesota sports history the Wolves and Wild have a chance to clinch at home on the same night. He thinks the injuries for the Timberwolves may be too much to overcome. The Wild have shown they are the better team than Dallas. Twins righthander Taj Bradley was touching 99mph on the radar gun in the 7th inning with over 100 pitches thrown.
