We can never overemphasize on the vitality of letting the word of God influence us. The word is light. How God shines upon us is through His word. This is our gladness. It is our joy. It is our safety and peace. What the word brings to us is beyond the mundane and this is why it takes the renewed mind to receive the very things the word delivers.

In our service to the Lord it isn't about what we stand to gain. Our eyes shouldn't be set on any mundane reward. The most important thing is that we obeyed and did so fully.

Enjoyment as we see in scriptures is never towards self gratification. Being rich even as a believer is to to be rich towards God in that we are full of good works, we share and distribute to all. Enjoyment as the world sees it must not be the way we as the church see it. Do listen..

Our notion concerning following must be corrected in this present day. What many call following is far from what scripture teaches and I pray that as you listen you'd come to fully realize the truth and align your heart to it.

Here we see a man who proved himself selfless in every way. We see Paul show how noble his deeds were and how much such persons like him should be esteemed. Do listen..

There's a reason we are told to take up the shield of faith. It is our defence. Until fear gains control of the believer he isn't vulnerable in any way. Today, stand strong on the word.

Our lives must reflect our stand on the gospel. Where there's conviction there must also be open expression of the same. We can't keep secret what God wants to be made known.

The subject of prayer can never be overemphasized. The man that would last must pray.

We must learn to be small in our own eyes. Staying with our true purpose without any desire to gratify self or seek relevance is pure devotion. Status or title don't define us. Our focus on what we have been given to do remains very vital in our walk towards fulfilling God's plans for our lives.

As the Day approaches we must ensure we are part of God's plan in building His church. We aren't to reinvent but to ensure things are restored to their original states and we keep strengthening the work. You can't sit on the fence as concerning God's plan in these last days. It's either you are in or you are out. Are you a true labourer. Can God count on us to fulfill His plan on earth?

The pressure from the crowd can only be controlled by staying with that which has been given. In obeying the Lord we can definitely see those who are following because of the Lord or because of their personal gains.

What God has purposed to be attained by His mighty hand can never be achieved by any human strength. Not even our sacrifice. Salvation is of the Lord. It is not of man. If it were by man He wouldn't have sent His Only Son to die. It is not by man's works by by His work fully accomplished in His Son.

Our walk in our sonship is hinged on the revelation of the Fatherhood of God. We are sons by faith and have come into a vital union with Christ.

We make room for growth and improvement by being accountable. It is crucial in discipleship. Believers who are not accountable will not make progress like those who are.

We must retain the consciousness of God's love manifest in His power. God wants to do you good and He wants you to have it in mind. Don't weigh the possibility of being a recipient of God's power by your qualification. He is your qualification. If He did it once, He'd do it again and again.

Understanding ends confusion. Light dispels darkness. Explanation brings clarity. Faith and conduct rests in all of these via scripture.

Treating the things of God sacredly must be part of our devotions. Contending for the faith and ensuring the divine orders are being followed must be part of our devotions. Like Jesus we must not keep silent when things are heading south. We must not be men pleasers at the expense of the Lord's glory.

The word of God is the premise for faith. Faith doesn't work on its own. The word of God is the environment that triggers faith expressions. To the degree we allow the word influence us we'd be strengthened in faith.

The infallibility of God's word is primarily demonstrated in His saving man and in that same salvation preserving man. It is the Savior that keeps the saved. In this His faithfulness is unquestionable.

We must all know our places in God's plans. While some of us will like Solomon carry out the vision, some of us will like David make the preparations for the execution of the vision. The core in all this is walking fully in obedience to God. Instructions must therefore be fully heeded to.

The church will walk in the fullness of God's purpose if the church understands the place of harmony. Unity is God's design for the church and we must pursue it earnestly.

The Word of God must the priority and the focus of the believer. We must ensure that we are intentionally after God's word. Without the word growth is impossible. Miracles are vital yet without the word the purpose of miracles which is to point us to the Father would be missed.

Ministry is in faithfulness. Obedience completely to the Lord defines fulfilment in ministry. We can't be in and out and claim to be committed. There's the possiblity of doing so much but not according to design. The only work that will be commended by the Lord is that which is according to His design, according to His rules.

The work purposes by God can only be hindered but not canceled out. If it's of God then it is a fruitless mission trying to halt it.

Our conduct as believers towards those who are not a part of the faith must in every way reflect the truth of the gospel. We must walk towards them in wisdom. What we do, how we do what we do matters. Let our conduct be worthy of the gospel that we profess.
