Salvation is the work of the Saviour. Just as the bank is the security of your money. Christ is the security of the one who believes in Him. You can't secure yourself if not you would have died, be buried and risen on the third day. Faith is all that is needed to seal one's eternity.

The work of God if it must be followed unhindered and undistracted one must learn to let go of certain things. That willingness to let go willingly and readily is a noble posture of one's heart.

All that were written concerning Christ has a purpose, the salvation of man. This purpose defines Christianity. This purpose defines our service equally. This purpose must be very well understood.

God doesn't repay evil with evil and Jesus showed this. His goodness towards those who hate Him was a pointer to the ultimate goodness He'd show them by dying for them. God has always been good to all. Jesus came to reveal God to us.

The believer is the finished work of Christ. The end of all the sufferings, burial and resurrection of Jesus is so the believer can be born. It's purely the work of Christ apart from any work of our own.

No amounts of works can save anyone. No amount of independence can produce good works. Both the salvation and the good works of men are products of the grace of God.

When a divine order isn't followed, the needed results won't be seen. You can't use a natural order to get a divine result. The only way men will enter the kingdom is by faith in the gospel which is only possible by preaching. Preaching must remain the core focus of the church. That's the tool to get men saved.

The name of Jesus is the present moment possession of the believer. When we use the name changes occur.

The name of Jesus has become our personal possession to enforce the power of God upon circumstances. That name changed things.

God shouldn't take second place in our lives. We must make Him our priority. The cause of Christ must be hallowed in our hearts.

We must prioritize. Setting our priorities right will keep us in the path of God's purpose for us. When we are truly serving the Lord's cause we won't be distracted from it.

We must be conscious of the presence of God. Whenever fear creeps in we are losing consciousness of His presence. There's no fear with the presence of Jesus.

The central theme of the scripture is salvation. This can be seen both in the lives of men and events. Ephraim and Manasseh were teaching aids to show God's disposition towards man in salvation.

The power that produces is effected by faith. Faith is the capacity behind the word spoken that gives it force. It isn't about what was spoken but how it was spoken.

Our devotion to the gospel must attract opposition. It is a cause worthy of any form of resistance and persecution. Sticking with the truth of the gospel in every sanity and sanctity comes with a price.

No form of condemnation against man can be found in God. His words are reflective of His nature.

There's the manner of life that's expected of one as a believer. Our lives must be in sync with the conduct in the gospel. We were called to be orderly in our conduct.

True exaltation is upon humility. True impact is upon humility. Holding on to reputation won't give room for work just as God would want it to be done.

The free gift of forgiveness is the grace of God given to us superabundantly. To withhold it from others is to walk contrary to the nature of God. When we do not forgive we grieve the Spirit.

There must be a consistent review of purpose by one. The man on the journey to fulfill God's plans for his life cannot be driven by fame or accolades but obedience..

We must recognize those that are over us. In God's order it's all about His grace given to men to stand in the places of authority. You can't be blessed by what you despise.

We mustn't treat those who are lost with contempt. The love of God is towards them. We are the channels though which that love is extended to them. Sin is the problem not them. Our responsibility is to bring them out of darkness into light by the preaching of the gospel.

When we worry we are trying to do what only God can do. Worry is expression of our lack of confidence in God and our confidence in what the enemy can do. Worry will distract you from the main focus.

We can chart the course of our lives by speaking. God showed us how to speak. Words of faith go with power that makes the words become what they talk about.

If Jesus is the centre of our lives it will reflect in our priorities. We don't make God second fiddle in our affairs. He is Lord. He leads, we follow.
