Last week David Evans covered the 1st part of Hebrews 10 which declared the great truths of Jesus’ “once-for-all” sacrifice for us. The 2nd part gives 3 practical applications of this: let us draw near; let us hold fast the confession of our hope (Jesus); let us gather together to encourage one another. These verses contain a severe warning, yet are wrapped tightly with encouragement.

David Evans finally resumes Hebrews, reminding us that its main point is this: Jesus is better! In this sermon, David focuses specifically on Jesus' sacrifice - saving us from our sins and making us holy - once for all.

Following on from John Glass' sermon, David Evans asks us this question; explains how to practically change our alignment; and challenges us to do so - because in order to receive from God we need to be in the right position.
