For Pentecost Sunday, we talk about why we should receive the Holy Spirit, and continually be filled with the Spirit.

The Bible instructs us on our need to continually be filled with the Holy Spirit. What's that all about? And how does the filling work?

We continue our series, looking into the promise that Jesus gave us regarding the Holy Spirit.

This week we dive into the first section of the Upper Room Discourse, with Ps Nate covering John 13:31 - 14:14. We look at Jesus' intro to the teaching, focussing on the command to love one another. Why is this the command Jesus gives? What is its significance? And why do the disciples have such a hard time following what Jesus is teaching in this section?

In the introductory message to the Upper Room Discourse series, Ps Nate outlines the background and context to this teaching Jesus gave, looking specifically into the authorship and the intent of the Gospel of John. One big theme we see in John's writing is the need to decide on our belief and followship of Jesus. "Do you believe?" is a common question Jesus asks of his listeners.
