Throughout our spiritual journey, we will encounter times when we need a tune-up. Berchman Paul uses the analogy of tuning up a lawnmower to show us how to keep our lives filled with the presence of God. 

God has a claim on your life. Pastor Donna Pisani reminds us that though “claim jumpers” may try to derail us, we can hold tight to the promises of God and press on in Him. 

The path to purpose is always paved with obstacles and oppositions. Pastor Jeff Kapusta uses the life of King David to show us how through God, we can overcome the obstacles and outlast the opposition. 

It is possible to be joyful and growing in Christ regardless of the circumstances we encounter. Exercising positive routines in our lives is the key. Pastor Dino Rizzo, Executive Director of Association of Related Churches (ARC), shared some summer routines we can practice to grow in Christ and keep our lives from drifting to undesirable and dangerous places.

We all have room in our lives to become a better version of ourselves because God’s work in and through us is not yet complete. In today’s message, Pastor Daniel shared four ways to becoming a better me: travel the high road, choose a generous spirit, sow daily, and have faith. The high road is a toll road, and it will cost you, but it is a road worth traveling to becoming a “better me.”

When we experience trials in life, we can take courage knowing that when we are in Christ, we may feel shipwrecked, but we will never be sunk. Pastor Tammie Floyd uses a story from the life of Paul to illustrate how we can do hard things through God.

The Bible tells us that God is the Vine, and when we stay connected to Him, our lives will bear good fruit. Pastor Daniel teaches us that when we faithfully focus on Christ and learn to love the routine of seeking Him, we feed the Spirit and produce its fruit. 

When we first become believers, it often comes naturally to be excited about every aspect of our lives in Christ, but this can also have a tendency to wear off as we mature in our walk. Pastor Daniel shows us how through embracing the power of the Holy Spirit, we can live every day with the same passion as we did when we first began. 

As we continue to study the book of Galatians, we learn even more about how God’s grace makes us new. Pastor Daniel shows us how grace gives us a new position, a new identity, and a new process.

In the book of Galatians, Paul starts out with a strong warning to the church for straying from the true gospel. Pastor Daniel shows us how when we choose to remember and remain in God’s grace, as well as repel anything that is not the gospel, we live a life aligned with the truth of God. 

The entire goal of Christianity is to become more like Jesus, and we do this through actively seeking Him. Culpeper campus pastor Aaron Judkins teaches us that when we cultivate a rhythm of searching for the face of God, we run directly into His loving presence.

The Easter story is one of such hope and joy that it can be easy to forget the followers of Jesus were feeling immense disappointment in the wake of His crucifixion. Pastor Daniel uses the story of Easter to show us how when faced with disappointment we can choose to turn our hearts towards God and allow Him to turn our pain into beauty. 

God values the human soul greatly, and that is evidenced by how intensely He seeks to save the lost. Pastor Daniel shows us how we have been invited into this mission by carrying His message of salvation to the lost world around us. 

We live in a culture that glorifies being on top, but Jesus preached a very different way of living. Berchman Paul shows us that through humbling ourselves and serving others, our character becomes more like Jesus and our lives point people to Christ.

Harry Emerson Fosdick said, “No virtue is more universally accepted as a test of good character than trustworthiness.” In today’s sermon, Dr. Donna Pisani teaches us that what we think about God’s character matters.

Who you allow to sit around the table of your life matters greatly. Pastor Daniel teaches us the dangers of holding onto unforgiveness, and how making room for the grace of God at our table can release us from the bondage of bitterness. 

Boundaries can sometimes be viewed as selfishness, but in reality they are stewardship. Pastors Daniel and Tammie talk to us about some common issues with setting boundaries and misconceptions around them, as well as teach us the importance of setting the right ones. 

If you are a parent, you are leaving a legacy in your family either intentionally or unintentionally. Pastor Daniel teaches that when we prioritize God and His ways, we leave an intentional and lasting legacy for our children. 

All relationships will face storms in life, but with a strong foundation, anything can be weathered. Pastor Daniel teaches us important steps to keeping Jesus at the center and building a lasting foundation in our relationships. 

 Relationships are best if they are reciprocal, but we often focus on what we can gain. Pastor Daniel teaches on what we can bring to our relationships: Trustworthiness, life-giving words, selflessness, and love. 

While we cannot control what happens to us, we can control how we respond. Joy is a choice, and Pastor Daniel guides us through some practical ways to choose joy in our lives this year. 

The relationships in our lives will either be determined by default or by design. Pastor Daniel teaches us the value of relationships and gives us some practical tools for developing and maintaining meaningful ones.

Everything in life, both good and bad, begins as a thought. Pastor Daniel teaches us how through capturing our thinking, we renew our living and create a predictable future. 

As a new year begins, there is one way to ensure it is your best year yet: put God first. Pastor Daniel teaches us that when we prioritize spending time with God, being in the house of God, giving back the tithe, as well as praying and fasting, our futures become dependable and bright.
