We are all shaped by our relationships with our fathers, for better or worse. Berchman Paul, Richmond Worship Director, uses the Parable of the Prodigal Son from Luke 15 to illustrate how we are shaped by our Heavenly Father by granting us the authority of the Holy Spirit, covering our mistakes with the shed blood of Jesus Christ, and restoring our status and purpose.

Uncertain times don't have the power to shake us. As believers, we can fully trust God for stability, claim His protection, and activate the supernatural power of the Holy Spirit in any circumstance.

There is a biblical process for appointing new leadership within the church. Pastor Daniel teaches this process, and displays how it was used in the selection of the new senior pastors that God has called to lead Lifepoint in this new season.

Throughout the life of a believer, our spiritual drift often follows a predictable cycle—from provision to apathy. Pastor Daniel challenges us to break that pattern by remembering God’s goodness, leaning into spiritual community, and consistently fueling our passion for the Lord.

God has a perfect will for our lives, but sometimes what He asks of us can feel intimidating or confusing. Pastor Tammie uses the life of Mary to teach the importance of our thoughts, and how there truly is power in pondering the will of God.

As believers, our true calling is rooted in mission, not position, and our identity comes from God, not our roles. Pastor Daniel teaches that discovering this calling requires a surrendered heart, a listening ear, and a spirit filled with God—leading us to live lives marked by obedience, generosity, community, and service.

God’s perspective is far greater than ours—while we often focus on lack or limitations, He sees abundance, purpose, and the bigger picture. Through Jesus, we’re invited to see with new eyes, recognizing true sacrifice, deeper meaning, and unseen greatness in even the smallest acts.

God has always been after the heart of humanity, but He wants us to choose Him. Pastor Daniel uses the Valley of Acor in Hosea to illustrate how God can create a door of hope out of any valley, and Jesus became that door when he defeated death and the grave. 

On Palm Sunday, Jesus showed up in a way many were not expecting to fulfill a purpose many didn’t understand: to end up on the cross. Pastor Daniel explains how ultimately these actions resulted in blessings for us so great that our only appropriate response is worship. 

Sometimes life can feel heavy, as if we are trying to push upstream, going against the current. Charlotte Gambill teaches us that when we allow ourselves to be out of control, God can be in control, and we can truly experience the beauty of a surrendered life.

The Bible is full of stories of God performing miracles of provision. Pastor Daniel teaches us that He is still a God of provision, and when we live a generous, God-centered life, He is faithful to provide so that we may then bless others.

When we have physical wounds, we follow the steps needed to find healing, but soul wounds can be difficult to treat. Pastor Daniel uses the story of David to illustrate how we can find healing for our souls. 

Our God is a miracle worker, but how do we find the faith to believe for the miracles that we haven’t yet seen? Pastor Daniel teaches us how to bolster the kind of faith that allows God to mightily move in us. 

God has a claim on your life. Pastor Donna Pisani reminds us that though “claim jumpers” may try to derail us, we can hold tight to the promises of God and remember that He is always with us.

Christ showed us an example of the ultimate loving relationship when He laid down His life for us. Pastor Daniel shows us how when we bring the gifts of humility, honesty, and forgiveness to relationships, we can truly love others the way Christ loves us. 

God has a plan for our relationships, and if we don’t know what we are doing, specifically in dating relationships, we can find ourselves in danger. Pastor Stephen Chandler lays out a roadmap for single and dating individuals that shows us how following God’s word keeps us on the best course. 

Friendships are some of the most important relationships we can have, and our friends influence our future. Berchman Paul describes the different types of friends we need in our lives and uses Biblical examples to highlight the significance of the right friendships.

To have a healthy relationship, one must first have emotional health. Pastor Daniel teaches us four ways to build and maintain emotional strength, so we can have strong and healthy relationships.

When we face difficult circumstances, we may turn to many different sources for guidance, but God longs to be the constant guide of our lives. Pastor Daniel teaches us that when we lean into a deep relationship with the Lord, and look to Him for guidance, we will learn to hear Him and live the full life He has designed for us. 

Breakthrough is defined as a sudden advancement that is given by divine enablement. Pastor Daniel uses the story of David to illustrate how through intimacy and faith in God, we can raise our expectations for a breakthrough only God can provide. 

This year, there will undoubtedly be unexpected moments that require reframing. Pastor Daniel uses the story of Paul to illustrate that when our confidence is in Christ, we have the power to reframe our circumstances in joy. 

The Bible teaches us that above all else, we need to guard our hearts. Pastor Daniel teaches us that what we input into our lives directly impacts our output, so we need to admit godly influence while restricting the negative voices of the world. 

As the new year begins, many of us have goals we want to achieve, but what comes first, commitment or passion? Pastor Daniel teaches us that we have the power to choose our passions, and when we align our passions with Christ’s we can have our best year yet! 

Good news is meant to be shared. When the shepherds heard the Good News that Jesus, the Messiah, was born to be their Savior, they spread the news to many others. Pastor Daniel shared what to do with the Good News, which is personal, not private, and powerful. The Good News will change your life and the life of others.
