While “you only live once,” may be a catchy phrase, it’s not actually true. As believers, we know that we are living not for this life on earth, but for eternity. Today, Pastor Daniel reminded us that with generosity, sacrifice, and intentionality, we can leave a lasting impact in this life and prepare for the next. 

As believers, we are called not only to pray, but to be the answer to the prayers of others. Today Pastor Stephen Chandler taught us that as followers of God, we need to think of ourselves not as consumers but as a distribution center. God longs to answer our prayers so that we can then bless others.

It may be difficult to imagine missing the presence of God. However, when we become preoccupied or complacent, we may do just that. Today Pastor Greg Surratt showed us how even in the midst of difficulty, God longs to pour the oil of His Holy Spirit over us. Though living a life in pursuit of God will cost us, His presence is always worth any sacrifice, and the best is yet to come.

As believers, we know that our hearts and minds should be set on eternity. We do this by intentionally giving, serving others, and sharing Christ. When we live like this, we honor God by sharing what we have been so generously given. This is truly preparing for eternity. 

In life, we will go through seasons where we feel worn out and depleted. Though the world will tell us to put our own needs first, today Pastor Dino Rizzo reminded us that God’s Word says generosity leads to refreshing. God fills our cup to overflowing so that we can then help others. When we refresh others, Jesus is revealed to us.

We live in a culture that uses productivity as a measure of worth and value, which can cause us to believe that “little” means “less.” Pastor Daniel uses the story in the Bible of a little boy with a lunchbox to remind us that God looks at our availability rather than our ability. As citizens of a Heavenly Kingdom, we are called to be light and life to this world. Today, Pastor Eddie Cole taught us that through embracing the Gospel, developing healthy rhythms, growing in our prayer lives, and staying focused forward, we can cultivate true intimacy with God. Though the culture around us may feel dark, this intimacy allows us to be constant sources of light.

Attitudes are by choice, not by chance. As citizens of the Spiritual Kingdom, we are called to have the attitude of Christ. When we take on the attitude of humility, obedience, endurance, and praise, we set ourselves apart from the world and truly model Kingdom Culture.

We are citizens of the Kingdom of God, and therefore, we are to hold certain values. Today Pastor Daniel taught that we all have behaviors informed by values, and those values create culture. When we carry the Kingdom values of selflessness, joy, surrender, and honor, we help to colonize earth with Kingdom culture.

God is always speaking, but are we listening? When we listen to God’s voice with our hearts, we tune in to Heaven’s frequency. In today’s message, Pastor Daniel uses the parable of the four types of soil to illustrate the condition of our hearts. When we seek the authority of God’s Word and apply it to our lives, we prepare our hearts for a great harvest.

God’s desire is for us to thrive, but when our soul gets depleted the enemy will attack. The devil watches for seasons when we are spiritually thirsty, so it is vital that we know what to do in times of depletion. Life is about sowing, watering, and reaping, but we can be too preoccupied with our progress to value the process. Today, Pastor Daniel taught that the progress is the result of the process. When we seek a relationship with the Holy Spirit we become empowered to live supernaturally. Through this power we commit to the process and sow into the future harvest.

Success is not something that happens overnight, but one small tweak can lead to giant peaks. Today, Pastor Daniel used the life of Joshua to model how small adjustments can create a big change. When we adjust our perspective, adjust our life to fit God’s word, and adjust our posture toward challenges, we can experience the success and freedom that God always intended for us.

Today Pastor Daniel cast powerful vision for the church. It was a vital reminder that we are God’s plan of hope for the world. We all have a significant calling on our lives as part of God’s family. It is God’s desire for each of us to share our stories, help others reach Him, and find freedom in our own lives.
