The good news of the Bible is not that Jesus came to make bad people good, but that Jesus came to make dead people alive.

Jesus Christ came to set us free from the power of sin that often leaves us feeling defeated. As followers of Jesus, we don't fight for victory, but we walk in the victory already given to us.

Many times each of us works our entire lives to build up kingdoms for ourselves. These kingdoms are the things we live for and where we find our identity. Yet, each of those kingdoms can and will be shaken. In this series we will study through Hebrews 12 and see that the Kingdom of God is an everlasting Kingdom. The Kingdom of God is ours to receive and it is a kingdom that cannot be shaken.

Last week we learned about praying in a pandemic. This week, Pastor Trevor teaches on the surrounding verses in 1st Thessalonians 5:16-18. How do we rejoice in the midst of trials?
