One can give without loving but one cannot love without giving. We see that God loved and because he loved He gave everything he had and then He gave some more. If we claim that the church is built on the foundation of Christ, then it follows that the church must operate with power from the Holy Spirit.

In Matthew 16 Jesus makes a profound statement that He is building His church.
