We all have grave clothes and the only way out of them is by receiving the forgiveness that God offers.

In this forgiveness series we are learning that our future will be determined by our capacity to forgive and in this talk, we will discover that our capacity to forgive will be determined by our willingness to receive the forgiveness of God. Are we willing? Here’s how you can be. 

Forgiveness is more than learned behavior or good social etiquette. True forgiveness requires a supernatural exchange between us and God, which then gives us the capacity to forgive others from our heart.

History is clear that without forgiveness there is no future – for nations, for relationships, or for personal wholeness. We’ll begin this series addressing the false forms of forgiveness that we often embrace, which leave us paralyzed in the pain of our past. And, we’ll point to a better way forward that promises a brighter tomorrow.

The genius of living invitationally, as Jesus did, is that it’s not forced or fake. It’s actually pretty familiar. And as we follow him, we’ll discover that the familiar becomes our field.  

In a world that’s divided and increasingly isolated, it’s time we recover Jesus’ very ordinary method for sharing good news with others.

In our world followers of Jesus are often seen as extreme, judgmental and hypocritical. That description couldn’t be further from the abundant Life Jesus produces in a person who knows and follows Him. In this series called Invitational Living we start with an opportunity to become positively and contagiously questionable expressions of Jesus and the Good New of His Kingdom! 

Evangelism seems to have a bad rap these days, but the best way forward isn’t abandoning the Great Commission. Maybe if we recovered the beauty of the good news, it wouldn’t be so hard to hear.
