It's always a great joy to hear testimonies from our Youth! Levi, Kaela & Eve, Verity and Maddy shared their moments of revelation, breakthrough, salvation and transformation during their time at Frontline Youth this year.

Can we declare that Jesus is our foundation, our whole way of life? Our foundations are not what we say or think, they are the reality of what makes us tick and the lens in which we see and understand the world.

Graham shared some history into his life, and gave testimony to God’s hand and favour evident in his ministry over the years.

Graham continued his Easter message, revealing the power of there resurrection of Jesus. His resurrection didn’t just change our position in eternity, but our position for today. Graham encouraged us to make our position in Christ our disposition in life.

It was great to have Graham Fletcher with us again for our 2018 Easter Weekend! Graham took us on a journey through the Crucifixion, sharing insightful detail and unpacking the significance of what Jesus did on the cross. He was God’s passover lamb - the unblemished sacrifice who took away the sins of the world.

Why do we fight God when we know He is Love and wants the best for us? If we deal with the WHY we fight, it’ll take care of the WHAT we fight. Chris discussed Pride and how it can deteriorate our foundation in God - like white ant. The best way to protect ourselves from pride is by clothing ourselves with humility.

In the fifth message of this series, Graham talked about “Letting go of the past”. We all have miscarried dreams, disappointments, feelings of failure and discouragement. The enemy loves to use Jealousy to divide us. But we are called to forget what is behind and press forward towards God’s calling on our lives.

Andy asked us the question, “Who do you want to be in 5 years?” Are we willing and able to change, willing to make the sacrifices in our lives TODAY to reap the goodness in years to come? When we fix our attention on God, we can be confident that our work is not vain.

Chris gave us a great reminder about the Sabbath Day, debunking some false perceptions and revealing the truth, purpose and rest in observing a Sabbath Day. When we take the law out of the Sabbath, we see that it is a gift from God to be gladly received!

Who’s voice are you listening to? Mike reminded us that we don’t live life on our own. We have the power of the Holy Spirit, the Holy of Holies living in us. Let’s not let the circumstances around us dictate what we believe. We have the same authority Christ had on earth!

Andy reminded us how to find balance in our everyday lives. To remain balanced, we need to be sober minded, well balanced and self-disciplined. Constant adjustments can (and are allowed!) to be made as we adjust our priorities to allow God’s calling to be outworked.

Graham discussed the important principle of sowing and reaping. We are either sowing in the flesh or in the Spirit. Rather that letting the flesh be glorified, ask for the Spirit to engage. Let’s not become weary in doing good, because at the right time we will reap a harvest of blessing!

Storms of life come, hot situations arise and test our foundations. But we have a God who willingly faces the storms with us. Dave spoke on Daniel 3, and shared life testimony of when God has been present in the midst of the storm.

In life, we need a game plan. Otherwise we may just cruise control! In Joshua 24, the tribe of Israel were following their own desires, but Joshua declared on behalf of the whole tribe, “As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord”. Who will you serve and worship? The choice is yours.

Upon what cornerstone are you building your life? A cornerstone gives direction to the rest of the foundation and supports the whole building. Jesus Christ is our perfect, unblemished cornerstone. We can look to him for direction and have confidence in our future.

Sometimes the desert is part of our faith journey! Hamish spoke on Numbers 14, where the Israelites quarrelled with God about their situation between Egypt and the Promised Land. Sometimes we feel like God isn’t with us, and we want to go back to where we used to be. But God always has a purpose for us - even in the desert times!

At the beginning of each year, we take time to dedicate all our Staff and volunteers across the Life Ministry Centre Property. This year, Michael Sukkar (Federal Member for Deakin) shared with us his story, and encouraged our church, volunteers and Staff in the role they play in our society.

Chris spoke on Matthew 5:1-11 and talked about the process of underpinning our foundation in Christ. When the original foundation is broken or weak, underpinning can strengthen it and keep it standing. In the Beattitudes, Jesus talks about the blessing and strength that comes to those who are weak.

Graham opens up the story of the Wise and the Foolish Builders in Matthew 7:24-27. Both men had the same vision and faced the same storm, but possessed different characters that brought about their final result. What kind of foundation are you building on in 2018?

It was a pleasure to hear a recap of our Youth & Young Adults Summer Camp 2018! Aaron, Tegan, Ellie, Campbell, Amy & Bec each shared their experiences of Camp and how God worked in their lives!

Following on from his last message on God’s omniscience, omnipresence and omnipotence, Ps Graham continues to unravel God’s incredible attributes. In Eccl 3:1-15, Solomon tells us that life is really a matter of timing, for in everything there is a season.

Has God put a dream or idea in your heart? Chris inspired us to “Go to Bethlehem”, to follow the dream or idea God has given us. Even through doubts, adversity and opposition, God can still succeed, because he does his best work in the impossible!

On our first Sunday of 2018, Pastor Graham spoke on three amazing attributes that make our God the God above all others. His omniscience, omnipresence and omnipotence. In Psalm 139, we see the wonder of David as he too unpacks each attribute. God knows us, He sees us and He gives us power to succeed!

Just as God promised the Israelites out of slavery and into a land flowing with milk and honey, so he has promised us out of slavery and into an abundant life with Him. However, with promises, come instructions. That is often where we struggle! We still need to fight our sin and put off our old self in our daily walk.
