Let's Watch Highlander

Richie meets an immortal while riding up the coast, who seems lost and confused. Mikey loves trains, and takes a liking to Richie, who feels compelled to take care of him. But when Tyler King comes looking for Mikey, Mac steps in.

A sniper shoots an immortal at the airport right in front of Mac and Dawson. It turns out to be Charlie DeSalvo, back in Seacouver and on a mission of revenge. But he's in way over his head. 

We've finished season 3, but before we dive in to season 4 we're reviewing one of the Highlander films. This time, it's Highlander III: The Final Dimension. Or is that The Sorcerer? And this takes place at the same time as the series, but doesn't mention Duncan at all? Or the Watchers? Or anything really? Hmmmmm...it has to be better than Highlander II though right? .......right?

Season 3 is complete, so let's talk about our favorite parts. And our least favorite. And give out some awards

Kalas is broken out of jail by Amanda, who thought she could kill him and help Duncan out. When that plan backfires, she and Mac must figure out a way to stop him, and also keep the widow of a fallen Watcher from exposing immortals to the world

Maurice asks Duncan to talk to his niece Simone, who he worries is not enjoying her life enough. What she is enjoying, is stealing art with her new beau...who just so happens to be an immortal MacLeod has had a run in with in the past

Father Bernard is confronted with a man he knows to be dead for over 50 years, but he looks like he hasn't aged a day. He also knows a secret about MacLeod he has never told anyone. And now, he realizes the two men, are the same thing. Immortal. Meanwhile, Anne is acting strange towards Duncan, and she has something important to tell him

Anne arrives in Paris, but before she can see Duncan, and young woman collapses behind her in the line at customs, and her ER Doctor instincts take over. But when it's discovered that the woman is a drug courier, and her supplier is an immortal, Mac starts to question if having Anne around is a good idea or not

Immortal Ceirdwyn's husband is shot and killed by some thugs in Paris, and she is out for blood. But MacLeod hopes that their history together can help him to stop her going down a dark path she once kept him from.

Duncan has to head to Paris after the events of his "death" in front of Dr. Lindsay. When he gets there, he meets up with Fitzcairn, who just so happens to be loving life at the moment. He has a new girlfriend, a great job teaching at Le Cordon Bleu, and is the happiest he has ever been. But with Kalas still out there, that's all about to change

Duncan's friend Brother Paul is in town with his choir of Monks to give a performance. He hasn't been off holy ground for over 300 years. But when he doesn't show up after the show, Duncan begins to worry. Anne is having trouble at the hospital when two of her patients die unexpectedly, and Joe is arrested for selling drugs out of the bar. All this is the work of immortal Kalas, who holds a grudge...

Religious leader John Kirin is hit by a speeding car and dies at the ER, only to wake up and walk out unharmed. Duncan investigates and finds out that Kirin used to be known as Kage, and Mac is none to pleased to see him. Has he really turned over a new leaf as he claims? Or is he still the greedy, deceitful immortal MacLeod used to know?

Young Immortal Michael is taking the heads of those much older and stronger than him. But he's not doing it alone. Rita Luce, a Watcher, is helping him. And when it gets out that Dawson has a personal relationship with MacLeod, it leads to some conflict between everyone involved

Duncan's "old friend" Benny Carbassa is in town, and is in trouble. Only Mac doesn't know that at first. But he finds out soon enough. Meanwhile, Anne wants to try and keep things going between her and MacLeod, with a promise "not to push things"...

A corporate lawyer video tapes Duncan taking the head of fellow immortal Matlin, and decides to blackmail MacLeod in to killing his wife for him. What could possibly go wrong there? It gets more interesting when Lyman Kurlow gets involved...

Duncan is plagued by visions of a mysterious hooded figure, which end with his beheading. And it's starting to bleed in to his reality

Duncan's old friend and protege David Keogh is getting married. Or at least, in his mind he is. It would seem his ideas of what this relationship is with Jill, are somewhat different from hers. Duncan is reminded of his own past

An immortal named Brian Cullen was once the best swordsman in all of Europe. Now, he's constantly drunk or high, and a bit unhinged. What happened to this man, who was once a close friend of Duncan's. Can MacLeod help his friend pull himself out of the downward spiral?

A young girl, the adopted daughter of some friends of Duncan's, dies in a horrible car wreck. Only, Mac knows something about her. Turns out, she was pre-immortal. But he's not the only one that knows. An old "acquaintance" of Mac's, Axel, is in town, and wants to woo young Michelle away.

Joe Dawson has a new love in his life. He's on his way to spend some time with her, but when he arrives, she is being attacked! Joe tries to get in the house to save her, but it's too late. He asks Duncan to help him find the person who is responsible. When they ask around the place she had been working, Duncan sees a golden cross and it reminds him of an old "friend". Amanda helps Duncan and Joe

Immortal Paul Karros leads revolutions, but it seems that these days, he just needs a fight, regardless of the actual cause. And he will do anything to keep it going. Including staging an attack on one of his own people. Duncan can't let him continue this path

Richie sees an old girlfriend of his, who claims that he is a father. Duncan tells him that it isn't possible, but he still wants to do the right thing and try to have a normal life. That is, until an old foe of Duncan's shows up in town. Kern was a tracker who lead the army to the village where Duncan was living in the late 1800s, and Mac wants his head. Also, Joe opens up a bar

Duncan returns to the dojo only to be met by a woman he doesn't know, asking for his help. She "killed" her husband, and is now cashing in a centuries old promise that the Koto family can always come to the MacLeod's for help

It's time for the Highlander movie review, and this time, it's Highlander II: The Quickening (Renegade Edition). This was, well, it was a movie. At least that's what they tell us. We have thoughts
