August 19, 2021 - Is it ok to seek honors? What does Jesus say about seeking honor? Let’s find out together as we look at several passages where Jesus talks about seeking honor. When. You finish, ask yourself, “Who can I honor today?”

August 18, 2021 - Is it easy to misunderstand Jesus? Do you think it’s easy to misunderstand Jesus?  Apparently, so did Jesus. Let’s find out what he meant by looking at his teachings.  When you finish, ask yourself, “what in Jesus’ teachings do I not understand today?” Go look at that passage and ask God to help you understand.

August 17, 2021 - What does it mean to be as wise as serpents? Jesus said we are to be wise as serpents. I don’t think of snakes as wise. So what does that mean? Let’s find out together as we study Matthew 10:16. When you finish, pray for wisdom to know when to be assertive and when to be passive.

August 10, 2021 - is it ok to try to get even?  Getting even is so natural, isn't it ok if I try to get even? Let's find out together as we study Jesus’ words and the Old Testament law. Once you finish, ask yourself if there is someone you need to forgive. If so, make a plan today to begin your reconciliation.

August 4, 2021 - What does the Lord’s Supper really mean? The gospels identify that last meal as a Passover Meal.  What was that and what did it mean? Let’s find out together as we study the four gospels.  Once you finish, spend time remembering Jesus’ sacrifice for us on the cross and the new covenant he made with us.v
