We are told in Proverbs 22:6 to "Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it." Can raising children God's way actually be a form of worship? Is it possible to see family interaction as praise to God?

If worship is the embodiment of the disciple, then is anything off-limits? How do our work and work ethic give a window into the depth of a follower of Christ? God really does have a desire for us when it comes to our work.

Today, we're starting an entire week on the spiritual discipline of worship, which begs the question, "What is Worship?" Is it all about music? Do we need to have the utmost piety? Let's get into God's Word and find out together.

When hard times come, where do we go for encouragement? Anxiety? Loss? The Bible is the ultimate encouragement for the believer.

Unity in the Church is vital to the future of the Church, and God's Word plays a HUGE part in that. How does Scripture bring us together?

Webster's Dictionary defines conviction as the act of convincing a person of error or of compelling the admission of a truth. The Bible does the same thing in the life of the believer.

Just like a map for a road trip, God's Word guides us through life's mountains and valleys. Today, we'll see how the Bible is the ultimate guide for this life.

This whole week, we'll be focusing on the spiritual discipline of scripture reading. Today, we'll focus on how much we can trust that the Bible really is God's Word.

We finish up our week on prayer with the final letter from the A.C.T.S. of Prayer, Supplication. Prayer is something that allows us to bring requests before God....and that's ok. God wants us to come to Him with our needs.

The third letter in the A.C.T.S. of Prayer is "T", and that stands for Thanksgiving. Giving God thanks for His many blessings should be as natural to us as breathing, but sometimes we get too caught up in what we want, and our prayers reflect that.

We're going to talk about the most difficult part of the A.C.T.S. of prayer, and that's confession. No one likes talking about their own sin, but it is something we need to do daily. Confession of sin is necessary for the disciple to follow God with complete honesty.

Today, we're talking about the A.C.T.S. of prayer by starting with the "A", and that's Adoration. For us to come to God humbly, we need to understand how great of a God we actually serve and give Him the praise He is due.

In this episode, we begin our series on Spiritual Disciplines leading up to Easter. For the first week of the year, we're tackling the spiritual discipline of Prayer. So what exactly IS prayer, and why is it so important in the life of a disciple?

The holiday season is usually a time of joy and excitement. For some, however, it is a time of grieving and sorrow. How do we deal with that sorrow?

If we want to truly live a live filled with gratitude, what is the one thing that can be the biggest roadblock?

When we are overflowing in gratitude, we have a natural response. It's only natural to act when we are living a gracious life.

What happens when Thanksgiving gets skin and bones and starts being lived out in daily life? How would this affect those around us? The World?

With Thanksgiving coming up this Thursday, it's so important that we take time to remember what God has done for us and be grateful for his many blessings.
