As we celebrate the mission work of our church locally and around the world, Rick Atchley from Fort Worth, Texas was our guest speaker and challenged us to change our vocabulary in matters of faith and what God calls us to do.

When Jesus is #1, we no longer think of ourselves only. It causes us to consider "everyone."

We continue our study in Colossians and who Jesus really is in our lives.

As we start a new year, we start a new focus. Our theme for 2014 is "Christ, our life." "He's #1" is a series in the book of Colossians. Part 1 is a challenge to make sure Jesus is #1 in our lives.

We revisit the Mind Games series from earlier this fall for a check-up and to see how the important practice of Thanksgiving is a vital weapon and strategy in the battle for our mind.

On this Faith Works Sunday, we are challenged to engage ministry in this church to impact the world. Part of this challenge is to consider how our caring for our own children plays a part in the future of our impact of this church.

The Apostle Paul, in Romans 6, points out that we all are a slave to something. We will choose if we will be slaves to sin or slaves to righteousness. In part 4 of the Intercede series, we look deeper into how we can choose to be bound to God's ways in obedience, rather than sin.

As we observe Orphan Sunday and Agape Sunday this message calls us to understand our true adoption through Christ. Because God has made us his children, this is the foundation for us to care for orphans in the world and others that are in need.

This is part one of a new message series that will challenge us not only to pray, but to get involved in many areas of caring for others. In part 1, we are challenged from Matthew 25 to love the forgotten and overlooked.

Guest speaker Josh Ross from Memphis, TN gives us insight from Scripture and personal testimony of a church at work in reaching the heart of the city.

As we wrap-up this series, what does it mean to have the mind of Christ? How does this change things?

Knowing who we are can change us. We talk about "Self-image," but if that is not based on how God sees us and loves us we miss the boat. In part 4 of Mind Games, we use Romans 8 to guide to a better understanding of how God sees us.

This message from Philippians 4 gives us a very practical takeaway of making a To Do List and a To Think List. We can learn to change our Worry List into a Prayer List.

How can we get our minds back on track? We have to renew them. The Apostle Paul gives us this encouragement in Romans 12:1-2. Part 2 gives us some practical ways to renew our minds.

On this Friend Day we started a new series. Our mind is our most vulnerable asset. Satan often attacks us through our thoughts. As we start this series, we start a practical study on protecting our mind.

As we wrap up the Marked series and prepare for Friend Day, we are reminded that we all have a mission to share the Gospel of Jesus. Sometimes being a missionary means going across the globe. Sometimes, just going across the street.

We all have times when we face unknown circumstances. Courage in the face of the unknown will lead us through.
