Lucy Lee Flippin from the  Little House on the Prairie  TV series sat down with me to chat about her childhood, the character of Eliza Jane, and what life looks like now in her eighties.  A sneak peak fact for you: Lucy was a professional figure skater before she became an actress. She doesn't skate anymore though. "My hips won't allow me," she chuckles.

Stephanie Fearon made it to the semi-finals of BBC's  Over the Rainbow  competition in 2010 before being eliminated. Stephanie has since gone on to perform in the West End and now directs Honey Soul Live , a special events band of talented musicians. Lindy Boone , the daughter of beloved singer Pat Boone, sat down with me to discuss her first songwriting attempt, which resulted in the poignant song "Wordlayer." Lindy shared with me her conviction on the power of the tongue, and how she lays words in her life. She also treated me to a live sample of "Wordlayer."

Olivia Belli is an Italian pianist and composer who has a keen sense and appreciation for the spiritual. Olivia discusses her newest album,  Intermundia , which explores eight places where people used to connect with the spiritual world. We also talked about motherhood, and the pressures of being a musician.

This has been one of my favorite interviews so far. It was a gift to get to talk with Jackie Evancho about her new EP Solla . She shared with me her heart behind the songs as well as her exploration of new music genres. We discussed what it is like being a young musician in the twenty-first century, and the emotional and physical tolls of fame and just living life.

Editor at Large at The Boston Globe, Walter V. Robinson , sat down with me to discuss his journalistic career, specifically his time leading the Spotlight team investigation of the Roman Catholic clergy sexual abuse scandal. He also talked with me about work-life balance as a journalist, and the value of subscribing to trustworthy news sources.

Brad shared with me how he came to know Christ during the Jesus Revolution, how he battled with drug addiction while serving in the ministry, and how his church is ministering to those struggling with different forms of addiction.

Katy Bowser Hutson is the author of  Now I Lay Me Down to Fight , a collection of poetry and essays that document Katy's physical, emotional, and spiritual journey with breast cancer. Katy took the time to sit down with me to discuss her book and her experience with breast cancer. 

Nomi Harper's mom, Renée Duering, was a survivor of Auschwitz's Block 10 , an experimental sterilization block in the concentration camp. Nomi shares the horrors her mother experienced while in the camp, how Renée survived three death marches, and Renée's desperate attempt to have a child after surviving the war.

Samantha shared with me how she met Roman Polanski, the trauma she and her family experienced from the press and the court system during the Polanski case, and how she views the media industry at this point in her life.

Kurt Bestor talked with me about his love of music, and how he sees music as a means to bring healing and harmony to the world. Kurt Bestor's musical oratorio,  The Redeemer , will be performed at The Music Center at Strathmore in North Bethesda, Maryland  this Thursday , March 28th, from 7-8:30 p.m.
