Lament of Hope

Katie Rymer is a sweet and joyful woman who exudes God's presence in her life. Katie shared with me about her difficult childhood with unstable parents, as well as how she walks with the Lord through uncertainty. Katie's heart is to own her life story, even the difficult and messy parts, to know God better and to make Him known.

Scott Richardson is a singer and songwriter whose content captures the calm and truth to be found in grasping moments with the Savior, Jesus Christ. Scott's music points you to Christ, and reminds you of the profound but quiet truths of Scripture. I spoke with Scott about his faith, his growth as an independent creator, and his love of tranquility and deep relationships.

Joel Haver is a content creator on YouTube who has attracted over 1.5 million subscribers. Joel creates his own content, ranging from humorous family and date scenarios, to old movie skits, to his own animations. I spoke with Joel about topics such as grappling with grief, the importance of independent content creating, and the beauty of nature.

Mandy Harvey came into the public eye when she sang her original song  "Try"  during her audition on America's Got Talent in 2017. Mandy won Simon Cowell's golden buzzer for her performance. I was able to sit down with Mandy last week and talk with her about her journey with music and hearing loss, as well as her love of community and how to persevere in the midst of hardship.
