What comes to your mind when you hear the word "holy"? How about "sin?" For most of us, they're words that make us want to pull away from others and to even pull away from God. But what if meeting God as holy and seeing our sin clearly was the real path to freedom, belonging, and hope you're looking for? 

In Matthew 20:1-16, Jesus tells a parable about a generous landowner that begins to open our eyes to the extravagant and unexpected generosity of God.  But oftentimes, we find that God's generosity and grace don't surprise anymore. The invitation that Pastor Matt gives us is to again be caught up in the extravagant generosity of God!

We might believe that God loves us and that he is powerful but do we believe that we can trust him, especially in the most difficult circumstances. Tom Wadsworth continues our series looking at Jesus' experience of trusting the Father in his prayer in the Garden of Gethsemane. 

When we suffer is God punishing us? What about when something good happens? Are we being rewarded for something we good? Karma is a popular way of seeing life but Jesus says this isn't the way things actually are and it isn't the way that God actually is. 

The stories we believe shape the lives that we live and the people that we are becoming. And the most important stories, and the ones that hit the deepest, are the stories that we believe about God. Matt talks about how Jesus came to show and tell us the clearest story of who God is and how that changes evrerything.
