Packed show coming back from the longer weekend. Anthony recaps a mostly fun All Star Weekend, discusses the dunk contest and wonders why this hasn't been fixed yet, explains why he enjoyed the actual All Star Game, then dives into the mailbag and live Q&A.

Adam Silver gave his annual press conference at All Star Weekend, where the subject du jour was tanking. The conversation on that subject was so loud that it made Anthony wonder whether it had become a distraction from more pressing issues.

Anthony continues his dive through the iTunes mailbag, where a listener wanted some clarity on the Kobe Bufkin decision. Anthony explains what went into it, based on what he knows, then continues on into questions from the live audience.

Anthony and Pete look back on Chris Paul's career and how the Clippers did him and their other stars wrong. Anthony makes the point that this is something the Lakers have done so well it's helped land stars over the years... which means they have to send LeBron James off gracefully, too.

Anthony is still pretty skeptical that the front office will be built out in ways Lakers fans are hoping. Pete believes it could really happen. Both make their cases, then explain how they'd like to see it come together.

Anthony is joined by Pete and Jovan to look back quickly on the season to this point, then dish out grades to all the key contributors to it.

The guys open with a brief conversation on the season as a whole to this point, then direct their attention to the guys at the top of the roster.

LeBron gets the lowest grades of the Lakers' three stars, then the guys have a lengthy conversation about Rob Pelinka and a Lakers front office that has a critical offseason ahead of them.

The guys wrap up their conversation about Rob Pelinka, then turn their attention to JJ Redick and the role players up and down the roster.

Anthony and Harrison talk about how tanking has escalated and the role Adam Silver has played in the problem getting worse. Then, they discuss Rob Pelinka once again seemingly sliding on by for wasting another prime season of a great player. They debate whether LeBron publicly shared his own Rob-related frustration, then they wrap up with some questions from the live audience.

Tanking has once again become a forefront issue and Anthony wants to know the difference between what the Jazz are doing as an organization and what the league kicked Johntay Porter out for.

Anthony has noticed everyone move on to the Lakers' deadline not being all that surprising while ignoring what the Lakers have cost Luka Doncic and LeBron James.

Rob Pelinka said he and Jeanie are looking forward to building out the rest of the Lakers organization, but Anthony will believe it when he sees it and explains why.

Anthony recaps a loss that felt right there for the taking, then wishes the Lakers had a starting caliber center. He gives an Alex Caruso history lesson, then answers some questions from the live audience.

Anthony walks away from that game feeling ok about the Lakers-Thunder matchup. He explains why, and how the Lakers need to further those advantages just in case these two teams meet in the playoffs.

While Anthony was recapping the game, so was LeBron James. He (LeBron) was asked about the difference between where the Lakers are now and where the OKC Thunder are and he gave an answer that Anthony agreed with, with a couple notes;
