Anthony and Pete set the table one month out from the trade deadline with some help from the league, given that Trae Young has already been traded and it seems like Ja Morant might be too. If you want to be optimistic about what the Lakers might do, this is the episode for you.

Anthony and Pete are both optimistic that the Lakers should be able to address quite a few needs over the next month, and will. They explain why. They also give their thoughts on Trae Young being moved. They loved that deal for everyone involved. It also signalled a new era in NBA contracts.

Anthony and Pete give their thoughts on Ja Morant potentially being traded. Neither are very high on his market. Then, they come to grips with an unfortunate point: The Lakers probably need a guard. Not this one, but still.

Giannis spoke to The Athletic about all the trade rumors and while he may have intended to put all the noise to bed, the disclaimers he kept putting on the message will probably have the opposite effect. Anthony and Harrison laugh at Giannis' attempts, then make the case that the Lakers need to move on from waiting for him to become the villain he'd need to be so as to leave Milwaukee.

Jake LaRavia has made a strong case for himself as the fifth starter in Rui Hachimura's absence. The guys debate whether LaRavia has done enough, how long a leash Hachimura will have if he still is the starter and, oh yeah, laugh at the Kings.

Anthony makes the case, based on the Trae Young trade return, that the Lakers should be aggressive with their expiring contracts to really go get their guy or, at the very least, get a pretty good player on a longer contract than their current team likes, but get an asset in the process.

We're starting to really know who Deandre Ayton is after the honeymoon period comes to a close. Now that we're learning all this, Anthony wants to know how open Raj is to trading Ayton.

Anthony breaks down yet another clutch win, this time against a Pelicans team that played fairly well. LeBron looked great. Luka thought so too. Jake LaRavia made another case for starting. Anthony discusses all that, plus what the live audience wanted him to talk about, as well.

The Lakers won this game because LeBron James turned the clock back. Anthony discusses that performance and how LeBron has treated games against Zion Williamson since the latter was drafted as the former's heir apparent.
