We want to learn from our regrets. God wants us to write a new storyline. He doesn't want your life story defined by or built around your regrets. We need to respond to them. We need to face them head on. We need to take 1 Peter 5:7 into account: "Cast all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you."

Everyone has regrets.  Regrets are universal. And they even fill the pages of God's Word.  We all make foolish choices, or something or someone does something hurtful to us and we regret it.
