As a nation we are yet to achieve true freedom for all. Let us consider the progress that needs to be made and what we want the legacy of our Country to really be.

To fulfill your true potential you have to be willing to do what you have never done before .

When the going is rough it can be tough for us to count our blessings but learning to trust God in the midst of troubles builds your faith and his capacity to show himself strong in our lives.

Although we can't gather in our respective houses of worship to celebrate the fact that Jesus rose from the grave this Easter, the power of his shed blood at the cross works wonders within us and our daily lives. Remember because Jesus got up we can get up too!

As sorrowful as the crucifixion was, God ordained it as the path by which human beings would be reconciled to him. Without the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ we would still be hopelessly lost in perpetual darkness. Good Friday is the moment where we pause and reflect on the sacrifice Jesus made to bring hope to a dying world.

In American culture we celebrate love once a year on Valentine's Day but in God's kingdom love is a free gift that is shown unconditionally 24/7, 365 days a year. There is no greater example of what it means to love than the way God chooses to loves us himself

In life oftentimes our passion can be eclipsed by our pain which can cause us to relinquish our God given talents and abilities. At these moments when we feel consumed by our pain we must not give up the fire or the light inside of us.
