This episode has some FABULOUS conversations and one-liners, but somehow the big picture leaves me a little unsatisfied? I suppose just that they FINALLY confront the O'Neill-Carter relationship only to sweep it under the rug immediately. And iiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii will always love yoooooooooooooooooooouuuuuu.  Hopefully, this will be the last appearance of Ms Tokra McBoobies.

So bored. So very bored. If it weren't for the introduction of the ongoing evil villain Tannith, this episode could TOTALLY be skipped. It sucks Goa'uld long range visual communication balls.  But near the end is my mini review of the 80s film DUNE, and a note for Rick from the podcast Open The Iris vis a vis mispronounciation of the word Goa-uld.

A very revealing director commentary, where they finally cop to RIPPING OFF THE MATRIX, but more importantly, I WAS RIGHT ALL ALONG ABOUT THE PUSH-N-SWELL!!!!! Called it. Also, Anise has boobs. Swoon as ye will. I don't get it.

The Nazi-riffic episode of Stargate. yyyyyyyowtch. With possibly the greatest director commentary though!

SEASON FOUR IS SO GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOD!!! This episode bizarrely mashes together TWO Sean Connery classics, The Hunt for Red October, as well as THE ROCK! AWESOME!

A Kree Yoohoo special in between the seasons, we take a look at the Wolfgang Petersen cult sci fi classic Enemy Mine, soon to be ripped off by SG1 in season 4. Boy, this movie is quite boring, but it's remarkable how many OTHER things have taken their visual or thematic cues from it.

YAAAAAAS this is such a good episode. INTRODUCE THE REPLICATORS! Everything you want from Stargate - lots of Jack and Carter tension, Teal'c being stoic, all the technicians on the ground running around like crazy, and quite lite on the Daniel Jackson!

Indiana Jones has ruined this concept forever. But it is funny to be back in the Urgo situation again.

I am so in love with this episode. It's tender in just the right way, and also features a lot of O'Neill not understanding things, which is always hilarity.

...followed immediately by the WORST. EPISODE. EVER!

IT'S MY FAVOURITE EPISODE!!!!!!!!!!!!  Do forgive me for the intro, guys. Hahaha.

Somebody at Sg1 went to see the Armageddon movie... But DAMN this is a good episode!! Why doesn't Jack live here in his off-time for the rest of his life?? Why bother coming back to his empty Earth? At least even on weekends?

THIS WHOLE COURT ROOM IS OUT OF ORDER. O'Neill just really wishes somebody would listen to him for once when he says DON'T TRUST SNAKE-HEADS!

All my confusion about scanning teams returning through the gate is resolved.

It's a Stargate sequel! Trouble is, the story ain't that good, and there seems to be a miscommunication between the writers and the editor when it came to shooting Kira as an evil suspect from the beginning, even though she is actually clueless?  REMAIN INDOORS

I went waaaaaaaay long on this one, because it blows my mind!! The entire episode is IMAGINARY!!! SUCH a good episode.

It is the very first SIMPSONS reference!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I hated it. Skip this episode. It's like the first appearance of the Ori or something. Meh.
