Phew, I really cannot get over how weird it is that Cassie was adopted by Janet and not Sam, or for that matter, O'Neill!!!!?!?!?!?!?!? But anyway, it's Goa'uld shenanigans and SG1 fun as they try to figure out what's gotten into Cassie. You remember Cassie, that girl from Bane...

Argh, probably the worst episode ever? And yet I mange to fill half an hour, talking about alternate plotlines that would have made more sense, and checking the math on Carter's insane plans...WORST EPISODE EVER.

It's that Rick and Morty aliens inserting memories episode! It's a goodie! Lots of good lines, lots of weasley Simmons locking horns with Hammond again.. lots of fun!

I am calling it: THIS EPISODE IS PEAK STARGATE!!!! It has the most hilarious character interactions and nonsense scenes and jokes. It has the Teal'c Star Wars line. It has a one-episode Samantha Carter boyfriend. It has the ring of jello joke. It has build-your-own-Stargates! It has Amanda Tapping in the commentary, This episode is the fucking greatest!!

It's a 'Jaffa Stuff' flashback episode! So you betta call Brad Wright and Peter Deluise!! It's a pretty solid Teal'c origin story episode, featuring a ret-con to put Bra'tak into Children Of The Gods!

SG1 has a surprisingly good habit of defying the odds! It's maybe the greatest Martin Wood episode to date!?!?! SUCH GREAT ACTION!!!! Looooving it! BUBYE APOPHIS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

An extra bonus episode in between the seasons, where I unleash an indie pop song I wrote about Jack O'Neill.

The Carter-Selmak-Carter Gambit is born!!!! They say the first one is always the toughest. Teal'c gets his revenge on Tannith! And Season Four is over! (This audio was edited to remove my blisteringly hilarious intro that used a copyrighted song by Bob Marley).

They're back, baby! The robots I kept mis-remembering! It's fun for the whole family! And scratch another system lord for team Tauri!

An obligatory Peter Deluise Terminator Skynet plot... Some interesting insights in the director commentary from Allan Lee, normally the Stargate SG-1 editor. But other than that... this episode is a bit of a yawner?

Not much fun in the episode, but GOOD GOD THE BEST DIRECTOR COMMENTARY OF ALL. I have a lot of thoughts and theories on how to improve this whole Hailey character arc.. Oh, and that is the ACTUAL chief of the air force on their little tv show..

My cats interupt The Light. Probably a good thing, I was getting addicted.

Dr. Daniel Jackson goes FULL DARK SIDE and gets himself a something something Death Star, something something complete!!! And Dr. Janet Frasier will tell us "there's nothing physically wrong with him". Good times. DREAM RULES FROM 'FOREVER IN A DAY' APPLY. And farewell to Kasuf!?!?!?!?! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!

The coronavirus series is over! I have blasted through three seasons in a couple of months, and now I return to my normal schedule of "whenever the hell i can find the space to yell nonsense into my ipad to record for you guys" which is seldom. What a brilliant episode, a favourite of mine and I have strong memories of it from its first broadcast in the year 2001. Nice one to go out on. 

Season Four is sooo goood!!!! This episode is so good! A rip off of Silence of the Lambs, Jack must seek the help of my two favourite weasels Maybourne and Kinsey in order to save his beloved General Hammond! Just a wonderful, funny, touching, intriguing episode with amazing character work.

This one's fun! Jack and Sam have some cute squishing because everybody has to squish together under a mine in this hilarious Peter Deluise-written, Martin Wood directed Three-Stooges bit! And poor Teal'c, Christopher Judge never gets to emote on this show except for the ugly a)SILENCE, WOMAN! or b)being tortured to death by a Goa'uld.

I'm in love. Dr Sarah Gardner makes her entrance and exit gracefully and quickly in this one episode - I think we see her again like maybe twice? I love everything about her. I wish to Ra they had made HER a recurring character instead of Dr Robert Rothman. Also, by the way, #Martinwasright. There are buried alien spaceships and shit left ALL OVER the earth, buried random Goauld places. Grrr.

Ground control to Colonel O'Neill! An excellent episode ripping off "Apollo 13" including obligatory "mission successful, throw your papers into the air at Mission Control" scene by legendary drama director Peter Deluise. Just great, great stuff, this one!

I AM SO FUCKING ANGRY at the bullshit in this episode. #Martinwasright. Luckily for Stargate, it also contains some of the greatest funny moments of the entire franchise in the form of MURRAY!!!!

Woah, what a weird one. Lots of dystopian metropolis stuff.. working you to death underground while we brainwash you. Nice! AND OF COURSE SO MANY SNUGGLES WITH JACK AND SAM! SO. MANY. SNUGGLES!

This is a really weird episode...the relationships we have spent all of Season 4 setting up are just tossed aside, and it's back to "yes sir no sir' between Jack and Sam. Teal'c is unnecessary and Daniel.... well Daniel is doing what Daniel does best. Get lost and lag behind and jepoardising the whole mission because he wanted to talk to the shiny alien robot thing.

It's the first and definitely not the last Stargate episode to rip off the movie ENEMY MINE! And good fucking riddance to Rothman because as I laid out clearly in the episodes Forever In A Day and Crystal Skull he was not officially canon! GRRR!!!!! Moon chant, what was I thinking?
