Equipment: A simple, battery-driven Theremin (pitch controllable only) connected to the great cheap nasty Korg Monotron Delay (a combination which works out fine recorded via line); recorded via air with a Zoom H1n (new). Finally … I managed to sync my SQ-1 with two Mother32s, a DFAM and a Microbrute, and added some Lyra 8 noise. Just playing around, "live" record, excerpt.

am looking for feedback on this: I tend to like a single tone which does not change all too much like the bass pad in the beginning, but maybe it is too boring? I took an old track from around 1999, named "Der Weltraum" (german for "space/universe"), which consisted itself of many layers (Shostakovich, Symphony No. 11, first movement; Tomita, don't remember yet) … which weren't recognizable any longer even at that time), and for "Twenty-three Weltraums" I layered 23 versions of it to get this version. Zara's "STEPS" - made somewhere in the early 90ties with ScreamTracker for MS-DOS or some software like that, I don't remember exactly. The samples had been 8 bit an 11 kHz or so, good old times, but this is the main reason for the noise artifacts. Although sometimes musically highly questionable, I still like this piece. Inspired by acoustic wooden experimental instruments I built my own: It mainly consist of an old metal box, to which I added parts from a cheap "thunder drum" and a set of piezo contact microphones.
