North Dakota State will appear in the FCS semifinals for a ninth consecutive year on Saturday when they host Montana State. The Bison enter the game off a 9-3 defensive grinder of a game against Illinois State, while the Bobcats are hot, winners of six straight after a loss to the University of North Dakota at the end of October.

North Dakota State opens the FCS Playoffs as the top overall seed, hosing Nicholls State (9-4) Saturday at 2:30 at Gate City Bank Field at the Fargodome.
