Knowing God With Heart and Mind

Jesus says to let your yes mean yes and your no mean no. Discpiles are to be people of the Word and people whose word is trustworthy. In this message Pastor Dan also explains some critical issues in the United Methodist Church and his viewpoint.

The author of The Law interpreted it to those who had twisted it for their own gain. Jesus taught that all persons are of sacred worth to God. 

Lesson 12 discusses the true nature of Jesus as both fully divine and fully human. This week we will move from the Beatitudes to Jesus’s statements about how our blessed life affects the world. What if those who revile and persecute you also benefit from, or are even saved because of you? What is salt that loses its saltiness? While would anyone put a light under a bushel basket?
