The Blondes
Know You Matter | Conversations with The Blondes Restoration
Hosted by mother-daughter duo Jacqueline & Lauren, this is your reminder that you matter, while we navigate a world where we do too. Because we're all human, and that's enough. You can expect conversations about healing from generational trauma (as two people living it), recovering from burnout and people pleasing, navigating imposter syndrome, privilege and perspective shifts. Sometimes we laugh until we cry, and by laugh we mean cackle. Sometimes we cry until we laugh. Sometimes we go deep, sometimes we’re ridiculous. But every episode is rooted in one truth: you matter.

The most relaxed Christmas ever? 02.12.2025 35:47
This week Lauren talks about the fact that this year she is the least stressed she has ever been (shocked? Us too) Wy? Because she’s let go of all the stuff she thinks she has to do. Wild, we know. But when you spend Christmas trying to make it perfect “because of the kids” or because it’ll help keep the peace, let’s be honest the only person missing out is you. Choosing to honour that little vo...

Using Your Voice (Even When It’s Scary) 28.10.2025 46:13
There’s a lot going on in the world right now, and if you’ve found yourself getting quieter, more unsure, more hesitant to say what you really think... you’re not alone. In this episode, Jacqueline opens up about her own recent experience of going silent. Not because she doesn’t care, but because fear crept in: fear of getting it wrong, fear of backlash, fear of becoming a target. But silence when...
Regulated ≠ Silent: Why Nervous System “Goals” Might Be Holding You Back 21.10.2025 41:11
We’re back from our holidays and kicking off with a big one. In this episode, we’re talking about nervous system regulation, but not the way you’ve been sold it. Because if you’ve ever been told that the goal is to always stay calm , stay quiet , or stay centred , we want to gently (and loudly) call BS. That narrative is 100% rooted in white supremacy, patriarchy, and control, and it’s keeping a l...

How Big Is Your Glass? A Conversation About Privilege, Perspective & Showing Up 30.09.2025 25:39
This episode wasn’t planned. But the second we sat down in the studio, we knew it was the one we needed to share. In this conversation, Lauren introduces a simple but powerful analogy about privilege - one she’s used for years to explain that privilege doesn’t mean your life hasn’t been hard. It doesn’t mean your pain isn’t valid. It just means the size of the glass you’re holding might be differe...
Know You Matter - Rage and Raccoons 23.09.2025 51:12
This week’s episode is a bit of a slower one, a softer one. One we hope you’ll save for a quiet walk or a cosy drive — when you’re ready to feel a little more like yourself again. After a family funeral, Lauren (that’s me) let her six-year-old self take the wheel for the day. It wasn’t planned and it wasn’t aesthetic. It just… happened. And it led to a deeper conversation between me and Jacqueline...

We would like to give a warning straight off the bat for the emotional whiplash, we can't help how quickly we switch from laughing like hyenas to deep conversations, it's just who we are... We'd also like to officially...
