An attempted burglary at a Eureka cannabis distribution center in the early hours of April 22 was swiftly thwarted thanks to robust security systems and a rapid response from multiple law enforcement agencies, leading to several arrests. Lisa Music reports. 

A prescribed burn is planned for the lower Tenmile creek area this coming weekend. The burn is a collaboration between Torchbearr, CAL FIRE, landowners,  and the Eel River Recovery Project. KMUD News spoke with Alicia Littletree Bales, community organizer with the Eel River Recovery Project about the upcoming prescribed burn. Lisa Music reports.
