As the Lord is preparing to intervene to save and rescue his people from slavery and bondage – the act that will become the defining moment in Israel’s history – the first thing that he does is to call them to the table. He initiates a meal. It’s here around the table where God’s provision and protection is displayed and his people are marked off and given instructions for how to properly prepare....
