August 15, 2021 (Pastor Casey Shutt) - We see God's grace and faithfulness to his promises even in the midst of Abram's failures (and they are big!). Those struggling with the weight of their own guilt can take comfort that our hope and salvation is not built on our faithfulness to God but rather on God's faithfulness toward us, his people.

August 8, 2021 (Pastor Casey Shutt) - Abram moves out in obedience from Haran to the land of promise. We see in this passage that Abram's journey is our journey, marked by grace, gratitude, and going.

August 1, 2021 (Pastor Casey Shutt) - God calls Abram to begin working out his purposes of salvation, and Abram brings serious shortcomings to the table. These shortcomings reveal that God's salvific purposes do not depend upon Abram's faithfulness and abilities, but on God's faithfulness to his promises.

March 14, 2021 (Pastor Casey Shutt)- The Jewish leaders challenge Jesus's work on the Sabbath. Over the course of this text, Jesus turns the tables on the Jewish leadership, prosecuting them for their failure to listen to God's witnesses. In the process, Jesus lets us in on surprising, heavenly realities.

March 7, 2021 (Pastor Casey Shutt)- This miracle of Jesus gives an especially clear look at the gospel. Specifically, we see our sin, Jesus's salvation, and how the world hates his salvation.

February 28, 2021 (Pastor Casey Shutt)- It's quite possible that we come to Jesus as a genie who can serve our wishes and demands. Biblical faith, however, calls us to submit to Jesus as he is: Lord.

February 21, 2021 (Pastor Casey Shutt)- Jesus's encounter with the woman at the well reveals Jesus's willingness and power to cross all sorts of boundaries so that we can drink deeply of Him and find life.
