When the angels came to the shepherds outside of Bethlehem on the night of Christ's birth they announced that they had "Good news of great joy for all people" Christ's birth is good news, because all things that come from God are good. Christ came to bring Joy and Peace, and He came so that ALL PEOPLE could be made right with God.
