Some people are naturally confident. Others lack confidence or are over-confident. As we come to the end of John's letter, how can we have a right confidence from God that we really know him as Christians and what difference should that confidence make to our lives?

So far in John's letter, the importance of faith in Jesus has come up a lot. But what does it mean to have faith in Jesus, what difference does it make to us and what if it just doesn't make sense to us?

God loves us. But do you know that? What if you don't feel loved by God, maybe because life is difficult? How can you be reassured of God's love for you?

If someone claims to be teaching about God, or on behalf of God, how do we know if we should trust them? What about if they are very familiar to us or seem very spiritual? What is the mark of someone speaking by the Spirit of God?

Does it matter how I behave as a Christian? What does my attitude towards sin and obeying God say about my faith? How can it reassure me that I really know God, even though I'm far from perfect?

It's not usual to hear of people leaving churches, giving up on their faith and even changing their views on Jesus. It can unnerve Christians to see other people doing a U-turn in their faith. Should we follow them? Who's to say who's right?

How certain are you that you know God? We can have doubts because of the claims of other people and our own performance. However, John shows us why Jesus is the foundation of our confidence in knowing God.

What do you boast about in life or what are you proud of? The early church leader, the Apostle Paul, boasted in the Cross of Jesus: a symbol of execution. Why is the Cross so important to Christians? What are the amazing blessings that come to us through the Cross?

What does it mean to be part of the Kingdom of God, or the Family of God? How good are the benefits of being part of God's Kingdom? Is it all about us doing things to qualify us for citizenship or do we enter another way?

TV shows, from the Apprentice to Bargain Hunt, feature people entrusted with money, trying to make the most of it and finally their efforts are brought to light. But that's just TV not real life, isn't it? Well, Jesus told a story along similar lines saying that we all need to make the most of our money. But how?

How would you sign-off a letter or a conversation to someone you care about but may not see for a long time? As the Apostle Paul comes to the end of his letter to the Christians in Rome, what final instructions will he leave? He tells them, and through them tells us, to stay strong in the Gospel which he has not stopped teaching about since the start of the letter.

Jesus rising from the dead is at the heart of the Christian faith and the Christian celebration of Easter. But is it really that important to believe that someone died and came back to life? Anyway, didn't the people who claimed to have witnessed it believe anything back in those days?

What's your ambition or goal in life? As we approach the end of Paul's letter to the 1st century Christians in Rome, we hear what drives him on in life. It turns out to be something which should drive us too.

How can you know that God is real today? A powerful piece of the evidence should be seen when you look at a local church. There's an amazing miracle going on there, as God unites people who are naturally incompatible. It can be hard work to stay united. Why is it worth it and how does God help us?

What happens when Christians have different opinions? When they can't agree with each other - either in the same church or across different denominations and networks? Is it inevitable we fall out with each other or is there a way of living with our differences?

We look at two widely-neglected aspects of the Christian faith. An honest reading of the Bible would put them as key components of healthy Christianity, as did previous generations of believers. But today they have virtually disappeared from most believers' world views.
