Kill Streak

Join us as we say goodbye (for now) to The Omen franchise and discuss the brand new film THE FIRST OMEN. In our final segment we hand out our superlatives, rank the franchise entrees, and announce next week's movies.

THE OMEN drops right in the first wave of the remake craze of the aughts, and it's...verrrrrry similar to the original story-wise. Does it justify it's existence? Listen and find out!

Damien is NOT back. Delia is here! She's basically Damien, though...but a girl. This week we're discussing the made for TV OMEN IV: THE AWAKENING!

Damien is back and in his 30s even though only 3 years have elapsed in real time. WHAT YEAR IS IT? We don't know! In our final segment we triumphantly return to a beloved segment: COLON EXAM!

An expert once said "1978 was a big year for horror." HALLOWEEN, and DAWN OF THE DEAD were released. Also, DAMIEN: OMEN II! Does it reach the heights of the two previously mentioned movies? No! Of course not. Don't be stupid. Is it good? Listen and find out. In our final segment we discuss the recently released LATE NIGHT WITH THE DEVIL.

This week we are talking about Richard Donner's mega-hit THE OMEN. It's classy, and so are we.

Join us as we celebrate hitting the milestone of 200 episodes! Wow! We discuss our BEST/WORST/and MOST SURPRISING movies we've covered so far, discuss the body-horror splatterpiece SOCIETY, and have a special SCORED TO DEATH with the voice of Kill Streak himself, Ryan Martin. Also, a brief correction: Eric said the beginning of a song reminded him of Thriller, but he meant to say Beat It.

What if you took 976-EVIL and made it even less relevant to it's central premise of a demonic hotline? You get 976-EVIL II. In our final segment we rank the 2 films, plus announce the special one-off movie we're going to cover for EPISODE 200!

Robert Englund, Freddy Krueger himself, makes his directorial debut about a devilish hotline that ruins the lives of two cousins named Spike and Hoax. Do people even know what hotlines are anymore? In our final segment we listen to and discuss horror themed 1-900 numbers! Check out the video playlist here: https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLjdA92LEc-0R8r2HlqXzbChuVmgprjBXr&si=AazP0zuBgBjYZgwA

We've reached the end of the road with the V/H/S series (for now, there is another one coming out this year). Join us as we discuss V/H/S/85 In our final segment we give out our superlatives and rank all six movies AND announce our next series.

V/H/S is back with 5 turn of the century tales of horror...well actually most of them are pretty light on the horror. In our 3rd segment we discuss the 2015 anthology movie featuring many V/H/S alum, SOUTHBOUND!

The V/H/S series gets rebooted in this retro entry that features cryptids, cults, and white supremacists. In our third segment we are joined by Eric's wife Jessica with a new game called Them's the Breaks: Timelines of Terror (still workshopping the name).

People often say to us "Hey, you're really obsessed with that phone camera of yours and making the ultimate viral video." To which we say "Hey bro, haven't you ever wanted to be part of something bigger?" V/H/S VIRAL is a movie about that.

This week we're covering the second installment in the found-footage anthology series V/H/S 2. We still don't know why the slashes are there! In our final segment, Price gives a history lesson/administers a pop quiz to Eric about the history of home video formats!

This found footage anthology movie is a real who's-who of working horror movie directors! This is the film that spawned 5 sequels. Is it any good? Listen and find out.

Jack's back! That's right, your old pal Jack Frost is up to his old tricks once again, this time on a tropical island (Santa Clarita, California). In our final segment we wrap up the year by naming our favorite non-Kill Streak horror movies we watched in 2023, our favorite Kill Streak movie we watched in 2023, and best and worst series we covered this year. We're off for 2 weeks! Enjoy...

We ring in the holidays with JACK FROST, a low-budget direct to video horror comedy that is best known for being a fun box in the video store. How does it hold up? Listen and find out. In our final segment we discuss seemingly innocuous Christmas movies that are actually scary!

In this episode we ask the question: What is a badge of silence?? We never answer that question. Join us as we wrap up the Maniac Cop trilogy!

You have the right to remain silent...forever...again! That's right, Matt Cordell is back and even more rotted than last time. We're talking MANIAC COP 2! Stay tuned until our 3rd segment unveil something very very special. Hivahaw nìmwey!

Matt Cordell is a boy in blue making the streets of NYC run red with blood in William Lustig's MANIAC COP. Join us as we discuss this sleazy banger starring Tom Atkins, Bruce Cambell, and Robert Z'dar!

This week we discuss the 2011 prequel to John Carpenter's The Thing. After, we put our Things away, hand out superlatives, and rank the series!

This week we discuss John Carpenter's The Thing. If you're a long time listener, you'll know that we've been pretty secretive about our opinions of this movie. Well, all truths will be brought to light. If you're new to the podcast, get ready for the hottest of takes. Grab a bottle of J&B and listen!

This week we're discussing THE THING FROM ANOTHER WORLD, a film (based on the novella WHO GOES THERE?) that inspired one of our personal favorite movies John Carpenter's THE THING. We here at Kill Streak openly admit that we don't watch a ton of pre-1960s horror films, so this one is a little out of our "comfort zone". How did it play for us? Listen and find out!

We've reached the end of our 11 film journey through Hell and back. This week we discuss Hulu's Hellraiser reboot, and then in our final segment we hand out our series superlatives, rankings, and announce the next franchise! Happy Halloween!

Ah, the suffering. The sweet, sweet suffering. This week we discuss 2 movies that were made to retain ownership of the Hellraiser IP. Is that fertile ground to create great art? The answer may surprise you.
