Jim starts out explaining the similarities between a Bar life and childhood. Are there rights we are ready to give up in our personal life in exchange for life's necessities? Are all relationships, transactional? Lastly, Jim poses a question to the listeners on who they would choose to be if given the chance.

Rainy weather in the Keys begs the question. Who's responsible for your crappy vacation. Everyone has a twin out there but will you recognize them if you met them. Are alternate universes created every time we make a decision?

Jim starts out with a story a friendly family poisoning.

Jim hopes a Bar regular gets well and may need to stop drinking. It is difficult to ask people to drink responsibly as a friend and more so as a Bartender. Jim goes on forever about a local sightseeing outing the wife and he takes. Its really nothing but Jim ends up looking like a pervert. People don't get that the cost of living in the Keys is steep. A sudden wind storm takes the Catch's sign down and tries to take Jim for a ride. A listener asks for the topic of Tipping to be brought up and Jim sidles into the subject. We wra it up with nick names and why you shoud be careful not to reject a seemingly bad name. It could get much worse.

Jim spends day at a Service Department realizing what he could have done. What qualities are parent like? Why are they so ripe for satire now? Maybe it is not unusual to let the service worker know your name. A hand painted sign with folksy wisdom on it is lame and that is universally accepted.

The crowds are still here for this busiest of busy seasons. Is asking someone to mask up the same as asking them to clamp their nipples? The labor shortage continues here in the Florida Keys so if you want to work come on down. Jim's Dad starts posting a ton of photos.

Season is winding down in the Keys. Jim has a tendency to overshare in conversations initiated at the Bar. Photography has come a long way in the last 180 years. Is it a curse or a blessing?

Closing time squatters are the bane of the service employees but they rarely get to voice their feelings about them. Cannibalism is not that distant in the human past, will people in the future view meat eaters in a similar light.

The Pandemic has changed dramatically the way we work, shop, educate, socialize and eat. Delivery apps have changed the way many restaurants operate and the small restaurants are not faring so well.

The Keys are a tourist driven economy so it woud behoove us to treat the tourists well. Tele-scammers have made it difficult for people who do cold calling for legitimate business. People should not define themselves by their problems. Its never too late to do something good for yourself.

A bartender deals with all different types of personalities and beliefs. Why is it that some people are so certain about their beliefs? What role does the moderate play in the conversation of beliefs? Why do they end up on the short end so many times?

We do a recap of St. Patrick's Day at the Catch. William Haseltine, a regular Covid expert on CNN, looks like a Bond villain. A software company name sparks Jim's curiosity about why would a company use a name that is historically associated with a disaster. Finally, why do bartender's bear the brunt of abuse or negative portrayals in the Cinema.

Jim attempts to mask a real life story and protect the innocent by proposing a hypothetical story. He fails. Saint Patrick's day is upon us and we get a brief history lesson on why drinking does little to represent Iriish Culture or the influence of the Irish on our culture. Acquaintance asked if I still had a podcast, well I guess they don't listen. India is a large chunk of listening audience and groming. There is not excess labor pool in the Upper Keys.
