Kevin Kietzman Has Issues

The worlds richest man left earth and floated back in under 11 minutes and it was remarkable to watch.  Yes, this sort of thing has been done before, but not quite like this.  Jeff Bezos' simple looking rocket performs to perfection carrying the youngest and oldest person ever into space.    Did you know our Homeland Security Secretary was born in Cuba and his parents brought him here for a bet...

The publicity stunt the Democrat lawmakers from Texas are doing is backfiring in a big way.  Now their trip to DC has turned into a super spreader as they flew without masks and at least five of them test positive.  What a disaster for these clowns.     A U.S. Olympian has tested positive for Covid and of course that's a huge global story.  The athlete is reportedly Kara Eaker, a back up gymnas...

It took a week for the hard left to come up with something to say about Cuba as it's a no win situation for them.  They couldn't figure it out, so they take the easy and lazy way out.  The AOC crowd is blaming Trump.... who would have guessed?    The forensic audit of ballots in Arizona is worse than expected as hundreds of thousands of ballots should not have been certified.  You won't believe...

Dayton Moore tells me he still loves his job after all these years, even through all the losing since 2015's World Series title.  But in sports, we know nothing lasts forever.  Dayton is a Royals icon and says going forward he will do "whatever (owner) John Sherman wants me to do."      Dayton added, "I want to have a hand in it no matter what," and says he has a great relationship with the o...

Black Lives Matter has played its hand, denouncing the government of the United States and supporting the communist regime in Cuba.  This has to be an awakening for people and companies in America that support BLM who have to know these people are Marxists.    Former Congressman Kevin Yoder joined me on KCMO Talk Radio Thursday to talk about supporting Cuba and how Republicans can get the 3rd d...

Patrick Mahomes is dealing with a social media controversy after getting caught taking a shot at Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert on an open mic while playing in the celebrity golf tourney Sunday.  It seems fairly harmless if Mahomes was just poking at fans while being heckled on the links, but how will the Chargers take it?    Cornerback Richard Sherman, the Vice President of the NFLPA's Ex...

We hope you get a chance to check out Wednesday and Thursday morning on KCMO Talk Radio 710 as I fill in for the terrific Pete Mundo on his "Mundo in the Morning" show.  It airs from 6-10 AM and we've lined up Royals GM Dayton Moore, former Kansas Governor Jeff Colyer, long time tv meteorologist turned conservative politician Mike Thompson, former Congressman Kevin Yoder and many more.   Joe B...

Salvador Perez did his part at MLB's Home Run Derby by setting a record for catchers with 28 bombs.  And Salvy was easily the second best of the night and might have won with a different format.  But noboy knows it because ESPN completely disrespected this great American.    At the same time, ESPN and Stephen A. Smith are doing damage control over comments Steven A made about Angels star Shohei...

There's a slew of important baseball stories right now and none of them are about the 2021 Royals. That's good news for the team as they deflect attention away from this disastrous season.    A former KU football players says he was harassed by teammates, had his car tampered with and had to call 911 as his teammates threatened his 15 year old brother.  The response from Les Miles and Jeff Long...

Can you believe there is actually a "Billionaires Summit" this week at a retreat near a national park in Idaho?  $588 billion worth of billionaires are spending days together figuring out how to double their money, keep the IRS out of their hair and control politicians.  This is what it has come to and we have to fight back.   The only way to stop the elite ruling class in the USA is to organiz...

We had to know the liberals in media were eventually going to drop "Delta" variant and switch to something scarier like Covid-21 and now they've done it.  NBC's Today show does a ridiculous piece about Tokyo, Springfield, Mo and New York City that shows their desperation to hang on to this man made tragedy.    You may know the name Mandy Horvath.  She's the double amputee from Smithville, Mo th...

One week into college players having  the ability to make money endorsing businesses and KU basketball is an early winner.  Three outstanding players have decided to make money by staying at KU and living the good life instead of going pro.  This is a huge win for Bill Self.    Salvy does it again with his third walk of hit of the season, this might have been the most unlikely comeback of the y...

Everywhere we went this holiday weekend, we were surrounded by upbeat, optimistic and positive people.  It's quite a contrast to when Trump was president and liberals were trying to blow up the world.  We just keep living and working and making America tick as we wait to vote again.  It's so comical, we just laugh this stuff off... like Joe Biden comparing himself to Ronald Reagan.      Liberal...

It's Independence Day weekend and my favorite current ball player is a great American to celebrate.  Salvador Perez is an All Star for the 7th time, and by a mile, he's the best catcher in baseball.    Patrick Mahomes, along with Michael Jordan, Wayne Gretzky and other sports stars, has invested in a new live sports streaming app.  This app is different than the others and it sounds like a real...

It reads like a bombshell but it seems like we all knew what's in Politico's hit piece on VP Kamala Harris.  Chaos in the office, in fighting, low morale and a total lack of leadership is the basic story.  Just like her campaign.  But this piece is no accident, we discuss who is behind it.    President Trump says he has made up his mind on whether he's running for President again, it seems pret...

As a Journalist, it breaks my heart the American media have become so dishonest and biased.  A new global study should serve as a wakeup call to all of us that the information available to you cannot be trusted and we should all be skeptical.  This is eye opening.    More election chaos where the Dems are in control.... the latest is the disastrous primary for New York City mayor.  They've reca...

Free Beer!   I mean, there's no way we don't lead with Chiefs star Travis Kelce at an event where he won free beer for Kansas City.  It's not the most important story today, but it may be the most fun.    The International Olympic Committee has taken a bold step the United States Olympic Committee, the NBA, NFL, and MLB won't.  It's a big deal and seems crazy that our country is now softer and...

Royals Owner John Sherman has some tough decisions to make about his team.  Sherman can't be pleased with the disastrous lack of development taking place with the young players, especially the pitchers.  Is he contemplating blowing this thing up this off season?  We explore his options.    Missouri Governor Mike Parson cut off unemployment benefits in his state and what do you know... people we...

This is the most important episode of KKHI yet.       There are a lot of things upsetting people today like inflation, crime and an employment problem.  But did you ever think you would live in a an America where the President weaponized the federal government to raid and arrest people that didn't vote for him?  This is no different that the Soviet Union, Nazi Germany or today's communist Chin...

Let's not take sports so seriously that MLB is ruining its sport by checking pitchers for cheating, that's ridiculous.  The goofy stuff will fade and we'll be left to answer the question, is baseball getting better?  It's really small sample but I've got some numbers for you that could mean we are already seeing a more entertaining game.    Sporting Kansas City is good again and they beat Color...

Well, it only took me ten months to do something as boneheaded as doing a podcast where I toss to a segment of the Chris Stigall Show and you didn't hear it.  It's my fault 100 percent, I goofed.  I know how I goofed and I will probably do it again at some point.    Thanks to the 100 or so of you that pointed out to me that I have issues.     Here's some fun and of course, the missing piece fro...

Who doesn't love former Mizzou pitcher Max Scherzer?  He's gifted, smart, fiery and will grind until the job is done.  Scherzer has decided to grind on MLB commish Rob Manfred, umpires and even Phillies manager Joe Girardi.  Scherzer dropped his glove and hat and unbuckled his pants mocking the new substance checking system on Tuesday night and it was EPIC!    Royals pitches got checked too, an...

When the Supreme Court ruled against the NCAA in its latest case, the media rallied and declared amateurism dead.   Maybe it is, maybe it isn't.  I just know that I love college athletics and I'm scared to death where it's headed.      As the College Football Playoff Board of Managers has taken the next step toward a 12 team playoff, it begs the question if they are about to create another pro...

We're dropping names on KKHI.  Four people in sports you know, in the news for four different reasons.  We have a lawbreaker, a Jerry Springer sage, a retirement and a broken record.  Find out who they are are.    The WHO now says there's not enough evidence that minors should take the Covid vaccine.  Well, the Dems aren't going to like hearing this.  Seems the WHO now believes Covid is no real...

If you want to know why the Olympics are not as popular as they once were, well, the globalists have taken over.  It played out right before our eyes during qualifying this week as two women made their teams.  The first is an American swimmer, the second is a weightlifter from New Zealand.  These two absolutely represent the best and the worst of the games.    Adelberto Mondesi's play is off th...
