Kevin Kietzman Has Issues

Nothing wipes the smile off your face like the start of another Royals season but they may actually be outdoing themselves this time.  0-3.  Sweep.  Desperation just days into the season and it doesn't get much worse than this.      Then, we spent some time chatting with Chris Stigall this past week talking about what the start of the baseball season means to our family, a new rule that Patrick...

Donald Trump has been indicted in Manhattan as America now fits nicely in with countries like Venezuela, Ukraine, North Korea, Russia and the old Soviet Union.  Political prosecution is the hallmark of any great socialist, marxist or communist regime.  And after 250 years... we have joined the rest of the world.    Nancy Pelosi's words were absolutely the most important of the day as she has sa...

There's nothing in sports like opening day for baseball and this year, all 30 Major League teams start on the same day.  Every fan has hope, the weather is getting better and we basically just get a bounce in our step.  We have what you need to know about the Royals.    A local tv report indicates Amazon is seriously looking to buy AMC theaters in KC.  We have the details of what Amazon may wan...

The bravery of the police officers that took out the deranged school shooter Monday in Nashville is in plain view with bodycam video being released.  Truly remarkable.  Now we are learning what the Headmaster of the school and a 9 year old little girl did to help others that cost them their lives.    On the eve of the Royals season opener, Patrick Mahomes is making national news with a tweet wi...

We have a huge problem with school shooters, period.  But now the LGBTQ+ community seems to be stoking hatred toward the majority of Americans and we've got a trend of non-binary and trans shooters.  Nashville becomes the fourth in recent years.  We have to be able to call out and identify mental health problems when we see it but the left won't allow it.    At the same time, a far left profess...

Kansas State had a 7 point lead with just a few minutes to play but couldn't get to the Final Four as the fall to upstart Florida Atlantic.  It ended with a similar hollow feeling KU fans had a week earlier.    Donald Trump spoke with reporters on his plane this weekend and made a surprising comment about the New York DA's case to indict him.    Unrest in Israel as Bibi Netanyahu is making refo...

It's a weekend edition as the Elite 8 is set and the Miami Hurricanes have blown into KC with a great story... from their hotel.      Then, as a guest on www.chrisstigall.com radio show, we talk about sports teams sharing their faith publicly and the idea of a new category of competition for trans athletes only.

K-State point guard Markquis Nowell is shattering records and powering his Wildcats to the Elite Eight.  In a stunning, record setting performance with 19 assists, Nowell is passing the basketball like Patrick Mahomes passes a football.  This is something we've never, ever seen in this tournament.    Michigan State couldn't have played better but HOF coach Tom Izzo says they didn't play their b...

Kansas City fancies itself America's best college basketball town but we learn once again, nothing is further from the truth.  With KU out of the Sweet 16, you can get into the games here Friday night for a song.  In New York and Vegas, the cheapest ticket to a game is TEN TIMES the price in KC.  This is embarrassing.  Will Kansas Citians shun World Cup tickets the same way if team USA isn't he...

There's a ton of college basketball to cover but as I listened to sports radio the past couple days, you'd think the season is over.  Then, it devolved into comments about coaches being fired over race.  Hit the play button and listen to me blow a hole in this audio madness.    K-State, formerly accused of media in KC as being an all white place that can't recruit black players, is in New York...

Add a really poor choice for flooring to the list of problems at the new KCI.  Yep, people are tripping on the floors and it's scuffing up like crazy.... a nobody saw this coming.   Meanwhile, some people want us to to put a person's name on the airport.  Let's work out the bugs first.    Trump told everyone he was getting arrested Tuesday, now it looks like he set up the District Attorney to l...

After starting 0-13 from three against Kentucky, Kansas State finished with a flurry hitting 5 treys down the stretch.  Marquis Nowell is becoming a media darling after carrying his team to the Sweet 16 scoring 27 points.  This K-State basketball season is just gloriously shocking.    The Kansas Jayhawks did the most Un-Kansas thing ever Saturday falling to Arkansas and everyone knows why.  Wit...

Kansas steamrolls Howard so all the analysis from game one of the tourney is Bill Self's interview with Greg Gurley and a disastrous appearance at the game by Howard alumn and (sort of) vice president Kamala Harris.    Mizzou was terrific against Utah State and catches a huge break facing Princeton instead of Arizona.   K-State got a good view of a couple upsets and should be ready to rip again...

Liberals have a new game plan since they can't win the debate to get voters, they now say you cannot even have an opinion on anything.  This playbook is really risky after we've been so right so many times.    A song by a Christian artist called "Trump Won and you Know it" goes viral and it sure to make their heads explode.... I'll play it for you.   An MSNBC host says white people can't use th...

KU coach Bill Self is in Des Moines and coached his team Wednesday morning but is still questionable for Thursday's game against Howard.    The Chiefs are finding money to buy free agents, it seems so easy.    And, several other topics as the world around us just gets more chaotic.

Grab your brackets, here we go!    Jalen Wilson makes AP All America First Team as KU gets ready to storm Des Moines.  K-State's had road issues and it looks like Kentucky is buying up all the tickets in Greensboro and Mizzou will focus it's perimeter defense on the number 5 three point shooter in the land.    Then Lee Sterling of www.paramountsports.com gives us a couple free selections in the...

Inflation, recession and bank collapses are just another by product of the Dems printing money they don't have for things we don't need.  What a mess.    A big thinker from www.dailycaller.com has a great idea to fix all our federal government problems and I can't wait to share it with you.    Donald Trump is in Iowa just blasting away at Mitch McConnell while going a little softer on Ron DeSan...

You've got your bracket and you're ready to go but don't forget the eraser.  This tournament shapes up with a field consisting of so many teams that could win a couple games and move on.  We break it down for KU, KSU and MU.   Then, Bill Self says he's feeling good and ready to coach after five days in the hospital and two stents placed in arteries around his heart.   We have more questions tha...

KU says media reports are wrong, Bill Self did not have a heart attack and the coach says he's ready to get back with his team "in the near future."   That's great news and so is the defense Kansas played to open the Big 12 Tourney.    K-State is on the struggle bus at 6-7 in their last 13 games.  All 13 games have one big, important trait in common and determine each night whether the Cats win...

Multiple media outlets report Kansas Head Coach Bill Self suffered a heart attack in Kansas City at the Big 12 Tournament.   The University has issued a release that states Self is at the University of Kansas Hospital for an "illness" and will not coach KU in at least their first game.   We talk with www.dannyclinkscale.com about this huge news story and two other Big 12 coaches making massive...

One white  Big 12 coach is out, another is embroiled in controversy before he plays his first game of the tourney.  What's going on here?  It's all about race... are these guys both flaming bigots or is there more to it?    Kansas announces more improvements to Allen Field House but it's hard to see how this will improve revenue.  New lighting in concourses, more chairbacks, another new scorebo...

We've been trying to find a way to communicate the differences in style between Ron DeSantis and Donald Trump and it finally dawned on me this week after the Florida Governor sent a letter to President Biden.  The letter says it all.    Two of the four American shot by a drug cartel in Mexico near Brownville, Texas are dead.  Two others have been rescued and transported back into Texas.  This s...

Tucker Carlson released all kinds of new footage from the capitol riot on January 6 and it shows a completely different story than the show trial select committee portrayed.  So why isn't Fox News airing much about this story other than Carlson?    Four Americans in Mexico could be dead after they drove across the Texas border into a cartel controlled town and got shot up.  What the hell is goi...

For over a year, people on the left have been trying to cancel comedy that's honest, real and funny and only allow comedy approved by liberals.  It's never been more apparent than the ridiculous amount of leftist filth on Saturday Night Live where Travis Kelce more than held his own and a Netflix special from Chris Rock that broke all the rules and relentlessly attacked a pair of black women.  ...

You have to hand it to the state of South Carolina for its outstanding legal system dispensing quick justice on now convicted murder Alex Murdaugh.  The jury only needed 45 minutes and the judge dealt a massive sentence just hours later.  Well done.    Donald Trump and Ron DeSantis are both keynote speakers this week and dueling conservative conventions in different cities.  It feels like this...
