Elton John is by far one of the most prolific musical geniuses of our time and when he works with Bernie Taupin, something magical always happens. This song was their reuniting after many years apart and it's one of my favorite of all songs. I completely forgot that I had ever recorded it and I stumbled across the digital folder today. This was always such a great song in its heyday and one that should have been with backup. There must have been a reason Glenn wasn't singing along this night, but there are good backings on the track, and it was one of just a few times I ever sang it. Recorded in 2008, this is just a timeless and wonderful country song. I've been itching to get in & give it a proper remix and remaster and finally got a chance to do that today (9.18.2017) as I'm looking for a good country tune to feature in an upcoming one-off song/gig next week. This might be the one. Love the melody and chord progression of this tune.

I thought this was a cool little song by the unfortunately-named "Extreme", who'd just had a huge hit with "More Than Words", and by all practical purposes, this should have been a big hit. I remember loving this tune when it first came out, off Michael Jackson's "Off The Wall" album, before "Thriller" and thought it was a gorgeous ballad.... it was way before I started singing. This was a live/karaoke but caught and now remastered as part of the "lost drive" series.
