Ronnie welcomes Sara Haile-Mariam to the show. Ms. Mariam is an undergraduate student at NYU who became politically active as a result of President-Elect Obama's candidacy. She discusses her work as a volunteer for the Obama campaign in New York City.

Ronnie is joined by Mary Brosnahan, Executive Director of the Coalition for the Homeless. The two discuss the ever-present homeless problem in New York City and what the Coalition for the Homeless is doing to help combat this growing issue.

Ronnie welcomes Dick Dadey, Executive Director of Citizens Union of the City of New York. They discuss election reform, including term limits and restrictions on the size of political contributions, as well as non-partisan elections.
