Eric plays on sessions with a blues legend and his best friend's epic solo album, while falling for his wife. He then turns that turmoil into a classic double album assisted by one the greatest guitarists of his generation. Then it all comes crashing down when addiction takes over his life.

Eric Clapton goes from one supergroup to the next, but Blind Faith ends before it could even get started. He then plays with various other artists and hooks up with good time rockers Delaney & Bonnie. With their help, he ends up gaining the confidence to make his own solo album.
