How eagerly are we seeking Jesus?

God is shaping and moulding us. But who/what are we being moulded after? Are we using other people or things to be the shape of Jesus, basing our life on theirs? There is only one Master Key and we should be shaped after him, not one of the duplicates

John 5:1-17 Pastor Steve spoke about going to the next level in our walk and things that might stop us. Here are some questions to ask yourself... 1: Do I want to? 2: Who am I blaming? 3: What action is God calling me to do?

Following on from last week's message Pastor Steve talks about how sometimes our God-given assignment can be stolen. Things get in the way, we get distracted (sometimes even by our own goals),or we will try to do someone else's assignment.

We have each been given an assignment. Do you know what your assignment is? Sometimes we forget what it is. Pastor Steve takes us through what our assignment is and and why we have one.

We have a concept of who we should be, often comparing ourselves to other Christians. If we compare ourselves to others we lose who we are meant to be. What does God say we should be? Romans 12:1+2

WE need to take off the old to put on the new - sometimes we like to preserve the old as it's more comfortable but God says to forget the former things - don;t dwell/camp there. We need to create a margin/space in our lives. To de-clutter. To leave room in the "outer courts" of our lives for Jesus to move in the lives of those around us.

We spend a lot of time on our "wrapping" - making it look good. But we are not our wrapping. It's not the whole you.

We are all being programmed - our heart is our hard drive. What we behold is what we become. But Psalm 46:10 tells us to CEASE striving - BE STILL and know that He is God.

John 4:26-45 We (people) often are more worried about their physical diet rather than their spiritual diet. Instead of looking for "fast food/instant food" - lets step into Him to be energised.

Geoff shared his word from Gen 21:14-18. When we submit to God he opens our eyes

God will use anyone regardless of their story. Doors will open that we didn't even know were there if we focus on the hinge - God

In this world we will.....experience trouble and pain BUT good things can happen in the storm.

How you see Jesus will be your glass ceiling. What is your image of Christ? This can get in the way of us receiving from Christ.

Peace I leave with you, peace i give you - John 14:8-22 We can create a lot of things but we cannot create world peace -we need inner peace and only God can give that.

Geoff Hall brought the Word to us from John chapter 3 We must decrease so that Jesus can increase. Everything comes from God.

Pastor Steve interviews Jaiden as we send him out as a church then continues his message from the Book of John. What is holding us back from going deeper? Let's not just believe the miracles of Jesus but believe JESUS.

We can know about something or someone without KNOWING them. God is calling us to an intimate relationship with him, to KNOW him not just about him.
