Send us Fan Mail In Jesus' day, Jews and non-Jews (Gentiles) were not typically in the habit of associating with one another.  But Jesus spoke of "another flock" meaning the gentiles who would be coming into the family of God and Peter would the one who kicked off the new members' induction into the family.  Cornelius would be the gentile God chose for the plan as well.
