What strengthens your faith? The Lord’s Supper and Prayer. The Lord’s Supper is a divine fellowship, not a mere ritual. Prayer is a type of worship in which you acknowledge who God is and lift up every need you have.

Mountaintop experiences are wonderful to have, but most of our life and ministry doesn’t take place on the mountain tops. What keeps your faith alive and vibrant during those times? You might be surprised what the early church did.

The most important question for the New Year: Are you willing to be mastered by Christ Jesus and His Gospel? To live for Him?

Know that Jesus is the light of the world and darkness cannot overcome Him! Proclaim the the excellencies of Him who called you out of darkness.

Jesus Christ came to be our Sovereign King, our Sacrificial King and our Savior King.

Assurance and hope go hand-in-hand. When you really examine the birth of Jesus, you, too, will not only have assurance, but eternal hope!

Rejoice! Let your heart be filled with the promises of God. Let your soul sing His praises!

How are you preparing your heart to receive what the Lord has done? Comparing the Old Testament prophecy from the book of Isaiah with the first advent of Jesus.

In looking forward to the advent of our Savior, Christ Jesus, we have a certain hope.

When you know God and are in His very presence, there is worship. Where there is worship, there is the praise of thanksgiving.

Jesus Alone is our High Priest who offered the perfect sacrifice for our sin. Therefore, Jesus alone is the only mediator for our salvation.

Many people try to earn their way to heaven. They try very hard, but have no peace or assurance of salvation. You might be one of those people. Yet, you can have that peace, assurance and even joy! The answer is found in today’s message: Faith Alone.

What is your source of authority? What is your bedrock truth?

When we truly stop and think of what the LORD has done, we are filled with gratitude – so much so that our voices are lifted up in praise: Bless the LORD, O My Soul!

It’s okay to bring our raw emotions before God. It’s even okay to pray for those who are doing evil to be stopped or thwarted; for God’s justice to be brought to bear. Sin is never a topic we like to talk about. Yet when sin is brought into the light of day there can be repentance and forgiveness. God’s grace and mercy is greater than your sin.

Jesus is my Lord and my Shepherd. He provides for me, He protects me and He blesses me.

God is sovereign over all things. You will either submit to God’s authority or to man’s authority. It’s not one or the other.

God in His Wisdom tells us how to be blessed.

In your spiritual walk, you practice following Jesus day by day. Do you feel the power of the Holy Spirit as you practice faithfulness, gentleness and self-control?

God’s love is perfect goodness and the foundation for all good things. When you walk in His Spirit you will have patience, kindness and goodness.
