The ideal church is found in Acts 4. There was unity, caring and sharing, and powerful testimonies of Jesus. Of course, Satan hates that so he tries to attack the church from the inside.

Even in the face of persecution, the believers prayed for boldness in proclaiming Jesus and His gospel.

The name of Jesus and faith in Him will create opposition. In fact, we should expect it. Yet, rather than be silenced, we are to fearlessly proclaim the name of Jesus and His gospel.

What does it mean to have faith in the name of Jesus? Also, what does repentance mean and why is it important?

Many people have faith, but what does it mean to have a living faith in light of the resurrection?

Our God is a God of communion. The communion God the Father, God the Son and the God the Holy Spirit in one of pure love. So, as we grow closer in our communion with Him, we grow in love of Him.

It’s true that the Holy Spirit gave the gift of tongues on Pentecost. But the gift was given for one reason: Jesus as proclaimed! The greatest gift of the Holy Spirit is to come to saving faith in Jesus!

Many people give little thought to Jesus’ ascension. Yet, it is so important to our faith. We see that it was not only real; it was Christ’s coronation! In His ascension, we find great confidence and assurance.

No matter who you are, you can still fall in sin. Yet, no matter who you are and how grievous your sin, you can still be forgiven.

Our sins and failures often weigh us down and we start to think our failures are our identity. But in Jesus, we have a new identity, we have a new name, Redeemed!

Sometimes our failures haunt us and we think we cannot be saved. But God’s grace for us in Jesus is greater than any of our failures, all of your sins.

Without Jesus there is no peace. The Word gives us confidence in the Truth. Do you spend time reading the Word for peace in Christ Jesus?

We all relate to doubting Thomas. But have our lives changed with faith in the risen Lord Jesus Christ?

Sometimes we have doubt and fear regarding our faith. Yet, if we but look at the rock that has been moved, if we look in the tomb and see that he is not there, we can truly say that the promises of Christ Jesus are true! We can rejoice and say, “He is risen! He is risen, indeed!”

The house of the Lord is meant to be a house of prayer. A place of worship and reverence for God.

When you faithfully use His gifts, you will also hear the words, “Well done good and faithful servant.”

You can be His light to others in a world that so needs His light!

What does it mean to be salt of the earth? And how are we to bless others by being salt?

The message of why Jesus came is about the forgiveness of sins. In fact, it’s all about the forgiveness of sins.

What must you do to earn your way into heaven? How “good” do you have to be? Those are questions that many people ask. But in this parable, Jesus gives an answer that most people don’t expect or understand. It’s nothing that you do. It’s all by the grace of God.

The Good Samaritan parable is much more than “Help others in need.” It shows us the great love, mercy, and compassion of God.

The love of God for the lost is so great that He seeks them out, He carries them home, He rejoices that they are found!

If you are in rebellion, if you are in despair because of sin, you are not without hope! Repent and receive the full, loving forgiveness of your Heavenly Father through the Jesus. Come home and rejoice!

This parable is often called, “Build Your House Upon the Rock.” But really, this is a parable about hearing and doing. Faithful followers of Jesus are those who not only hear His words, but actively practice them.

Can hearing change your life? Yes! In fact, Jesus said, “He who has ears, let him hear.” But what did Jesus mean by that?
