Send us Fan Mail Today we see Absalom run away after killing his brother who had raped his sister. Then, when David forgives him and brings him home, Absalom repays the kindness by conspiring to take the kingdom from his father, King David. Such intrigue and betrayal!

Send us Fan Mail Today we see some gruesome revenge killings, but it ends with joy as all of Israel accepts David as their king. 

Send us Fan Mail Today Saul consults a witch and then dies in battle ... a very sad ending to his life. 

Send us Fan Mail Today we see David meet and marry his 3rd wife, Abigail, through an interesting set of circumstances. Also David spares the life of Saul - again. 

Send us Fan Mail Today we see Saul murder an entire town of priests and David show mercy to Saul rather than take an opportunity to kill him. 

Send us Fan Mail Today we see David pretend to be insane to escape the Philistines. 

Send us Fan Mail Today we see Saul so filled with hatred for David that he tries to kill him several times - and even tries to kill his own son, Jonathan, for defending David's innocence. 

Send us Fan Mail Today we see David kill Goliath! What a great example of courage through faith in God when faced with impossible circumstances. 

Send us Fan Mail Today we see the beginning of Saul's reign as the first king of Israel and the courage and faith of his son, Jonathan. 

Send us Fan Mail Today we see King Saul become arrogant and disobey God and is told that the kingdom will be torn from him and given to someone better than him.  (Can you guess who? hint: slingshot)

Send us Fan Mail Today we see the choosing of Israel's first king, Saul. God warns them against it, but Israel demands their own way once again. 

Send us Fan Mail Today we see the birth of Samuel and the wicked sons of Eli, the priest. Quite a contrast between Samuel, who is dedicated to God's service, and the priest's sons, who are dedicated to abusing God's laws. 

Send us Fan Mail Today we see the death of Eli and his sons as well as the eventual defeat of the Philistines. God also shows that He is the one true God when He destroys the false god Dagon!

Send us Fan Mail Today we see one of the Israelite tribes, Benjamin, allow such depravity that it is almost wiped out by the remaining tribes. But God allows them to begin to rebuild after a painful purging. 

Send us Fan Mail Today we see the rise and fall of Samson - the man with superhuman strength who is brought down by a deceptive woman named Delilah. 

Send us Fan Mail Today we see Micah, an Israelite, decide to set up his own personal temple with his own personal priest...a bad idea!

Send us Fan Mail Today we see God choose Jephthah, son of a prostitute, to lead Israel to another victory. Jephthah also makes a vow to God that results in tragedy.
