I’m constantly in the midst of a birthday dilemma. Not because it’s someone’s birthday everyday. It’s more than that. For me the word birthday has an elephant in the room. Several elephants. This episode is deep. Something differently deep. It’s a BIRTHDAY DELIMMA

I refuse to look at, have googly eyes, stare at any woman that’s NOT MINE. What’s the point? Why go gaga over someone else’s property. Nah, I’m good. I’m saving my looks for My QUEEN. Saving my getting excited for My QUEEN. Saving my admiration for My QUEEN and My QUEEN Only. A rule I’m firm on. I just have no interest in what’s not mine. Period.

Today I will strive to do better. Tomorrow same thing. Until I reach MY pinnacle of joy and happiness. Until I’m living where I want. How I want. Satisfied with the Me landscape. I will seek to do better. If no one else believes in me. I do. God does. I know I CAN DO BETTER.

I want to acknowledge and honor my dad. He was and still is a great presence even though he’s no longer with us. This is our story of the appreciation of one father to another. My Dad. Our dads. Let’s honor them bc who else is? You.

Popcorn today is considered a snack. But for me it has been much more. When we smelled it, everything stopped. It automatically meant everyone assemble in the living room, we’d choose a movie or show and we became one. It meant unity. It meant family. I still love my popcorn.

What’s it like to have family? There to support you. Be there for you. Truly love you and there is no doubt. Is it important? This is my reality. The feeling of emptiness when you don’t have that immediate family in your life. You’ll appreciate yours so much more.

So many times officers are in the media on the wrong side of history. This morning it felt good to see four officers make the RIGHT DECISION regarding handling a young lady. It could've easily gone wrong but instead they took no action. They made the RIGHT DECISION.

I am FOREVER guided by the child in me. I am full grown yet still crave my mother. Seek to live up to my father. Need love, care and nurturing. My seeing life through that prism is why I can relate to my children. Give ultimate care for my Queen. And more...

Oooohh!!!...if it weren't for God being there. I can go on and on where I would be. All of the times he saved me from myself. These are just a few climactic moments from fires to possible wrecks to more.

I'm no different than any other male student. Sooner or later attracted to a female teacher. I still say this was not the same as a teacher crossing any lines. This one is based on an innocence of two coming together through common bond.

So I'm a huge TV buff. Problem is 75% of my choices are drama translated bombs, humans hurting other humans, families impacted, kids, on and on. Then be surprised when the news reflects that in real life. Why would I want to see that with all going on today? 15% boring boy meets girl. Same story different day. Enough already. 10% sci-fi but 90% dark. I'm in a true delimma.

When life becomes a MESS. All that cares for one is impacted especially the kids if one has them. What if its avoidable. When all we had to do was bring our team in early enough. They won't say it. But if they can help they're OK with that. Yet letting it evolve into a mess bothers them because now it's a burden. Some believe in not letting the right hand know what the left is thinking or doing. A...

One can quit a job. Quit on a relationship. Quit on many things. But quitting on one's self. It can happen in ways we may not see. So we have to write it on the wall. Write it on our hearts. Enscribe it on our minds until it takes for good. We can't Quit on ourselves.

WHY WAL-MART SCARES ME ABOUT OUR FUTURE. The trend being set by Walmart concerns me in a Major way about our FINANCIAL FUTURE. Food, groceries items and much more. Eliminating our choices by wiping out the competition allowing them to run up the prices. On and on....This is why my concerns run DEEPER than that.
