In this portion of Romans, Paul references the faith of Abraham. Pastor Adam digs into this type of faith and reminds us why we can have faith in the promises of God.

In Romans 3:27-31, Paul is explaining to the Church of Rome that our boasting can only be in Christ. That we are saved through our faith and not our works. However he mentions that it is through our faith that we can then uphold the law. In this message we discuss the importance of finding balance in faith and works. One without the other signals a problem in our relationship with God.

In Romans 3 Paul deals with the weighty issues of total depravity, justification, and propitiation. The hearers were no doubt cut to the heart as he reveals the deep and insidious nature of sin that lies within us. Thankfully Paul does not leave us there but offers us hope. Hope in the form of the son of God Jesus who would die in our place for our sins.
